Jerry should set aside $30M a year for coaches. Pocket change for him.

He should give half of it to Dabo Sweeney and tell him to bring over all the Clemson assistants he needs with the rest of the cash.

Then Jerry should sit back and let Dabo do his thing while his grandkids cleans his glasses.

I don’t think Tomlin will be available. I’m getting kinda interested in Greg Roman seeing what he did with Kap in SF and seeing what he is doing with Jackson in Baltimore I think he could do a lot with Dak and EE. Jackson has wheels but he was a horrible passer coming out of college and now look at him. Kap was pretty good under Roman. I even think if not mistaken Taylor was decent under him in Buffalo. He also gets a lot out of his running game. I just think he fits with the talent here.

Dabo would be a fool to leave Clemson. He's got a recruiting pipeline going and plays in a lame conference. He'll be in the playoff darn near every year.

He's already making millions, and will make more when he replaces Saban at Alabama (his alma mater) one day. He has no need for Jerry.

I feel like alot of the options that have been floated around have been names I could be happy with.

Urban and Riley seem to be the most popular names out there and I would be happy with either. As happy as I'll be to see a new coach in here, I'm curious to see what Urban or Riley could do as far as bringing in a staff and implementing their own systems.

Both college coaches bring good things to the table but adjustments need to be made at the pro level. I would like to see some more elements of a college offense introduced to see if it brings out the best in Dak and Zeke. Maybe more motion, play action, different alignments/formations, things like that.

Defense needs alot of help obviously but I'm hoping fresh eyes and a new philosophy can help there as well.

Getting this team back on track is not a easy task and I think a new coach has alot of work to do.

We want results as fans and I share that desire to win asap but I think we need to keep in mind that a new coach deserves a chance to change things over more then just his first year. I think changing the culture and getting their systems in place could take time and then they need to evaluate what players they want to keep long term and who needs to be replaced.

This will be the craziest off season we have had in a long time and while it wont always be pretty I'm excited to watch this team go in a new direction regardless of who the new coach may be.

I’ve been saying this for years but Art Briles would be a dream. I never was a Baylor fan. But I was a fan of his. The dude can coach. Won multiple Championships in HS and than put Baylor on the map. His teams just had this swagger. They would jump up and down, the entire sideline for kickoffs and returns, and it was just electric. He screwed up looking the other way, but he’s done his time.

I’ve never been more impressed than in the one bowl game they played, all the QB’s were hurt so he changed the entire offense and they ran for like 400 yards. It was amazing.

What would you be willing to trade for him? He’s under contract through the 2021 season and is a strong candidate for COY this season. Tomlin won’t be leaving Pittsburgh anytime soon.

If Jerry gave him total authority and control I would trade 2 no 1 picks for him in a Texan Heartbeat!

Good guy and great coach. Got caught up in his own success. I'd be good with him coming in as an top assistant. Not sure about HC
