What you are discounting is engrained attitudes and personalities - every fan is not a clone of every other fan, so you saying every fan has to believe a certain way or else it means what you say is not a valid statement.

As for which is better, who really knows? There is no guarantee a higher draft pick will work out, and there is no certainty a lower draft pick would do any notable harm. The draft isn't that sure a thing.

almost all of us hate seeing the cowboys lose and play poorly and get excited and happy when they win and are a good team. That’s part of being a fan.

If you’ve given up on the cowboys this season and don’t care anymore that’s fine. I still want to feel that thrill of victory against key rivals though.

To be honest most of them don’t talk trash and they certainly won’t talk trash when the eagles also suck. There is good natured ribbing on both sides. But it’s not that deep.

I really just want the cowboys to win because I enjoy seeing them win and enjoy seeing them play in the playoffs. I don’t want the season to end so soon. I want to see every meaningful game we can.

Believe me. I want Garrett gone as much as anyone. But if Jerry is dumb enough To keep Garrett after everything that has happened. Let’s be real. The cowboys are screwed regardless of if they beat the cowboys or not.
