I havent read it here or anywhere else online, but I was listening to 107.7 the franchise (sport radio station out of Oklahoma City) last Sunday evening while driving. Im not sure of the sportscaster or "insider" that was reporting it, but they said there was a lot of internal conflict and "negative scuffles" (not the good kind-reporters words) during practices leading up to the Bears game. He said they were not good practices, players didnt look crisp, and it was no surprise to him how they looked in Chicago due to what was seen during the week. I heard the name "Fisher" during the segment, but not certain this came from him. Did I just miss these reports elsewhere? Anyone else heard anything? Not surprising, but hadnt seen or heard this anywhere else in the last week or so.

Lol. They were fussy because they had to practice outside. They likely threw tantrums and refused to practice, hence why they did not look "crisp". No surprises here. Move along.

Stop it. We discussed you stating opinions as fact. Dont blame the players for the coaching staff failing them.

What did I state as fact? "They were fussy because they had to practice outside" is a joke. As a matter of fact, my whole post was a joke.

Also, as much as I hate our coaching staff, our players are grown men and professional football players. I expected at least a half-arsed performance from them, but they look like they weren't even trying at all. I understand giving up on your coach, but at least play well for yourself or your teammates.

Edit: Please get your goon/friend Dallasfann to leave me alone.

Yep,, there are good players, good teammates on this team,, but it would not surprise me that some are talking trash in practice, in the locker room, and the captains like Witten
are still trying to protect the house. I want that, I want to see that, but the facts are the facts, and even the old schoolers are getting tired at this point.
Damn shame.

Doubt it's true. Garrett said practices went great leading up to the Bears game and it just didn't carry over to the game.

Can't imagine Garrett would blame the players if it weren't true.

Monday is a win-win for us fans. If they beat the Rams, it might signal the team can make a little run down the stretch here.

If they lose, then we get to hear Jerry lose his everloving mind again trying to explain how he's smarter than everyone else, Garrett (despite losing a bunch of games in a row) is the only guy who can fix this mess, etc.

Yep.

That's how I've approached this entire season.

If the team wins? I win.

If the team loses and Garrett is gone? I win.

Either way, I win.

Local reporters and the media walk a fine line on their reporting because they know the Cowboys owner is a vindictive child when it comes to criticizing him or his players and he sees it as a personal connection. Coaches? Not so much but don't dog his players.

Back when they were quitting on another coach, the reporter for The Ticket flew on the team plane to and from PHL in one of the worst performances by a Cowboys team to end the season, 6-44, and was coerced into telling the audience about the plane ride home by the Morning Musers. He was really reluctant to tell it because you could tell part of him had awakened to something he'd not realized before, he cared more about losing than the players. They were discussing vacations and some were talking about investments but very few were demonstrating that they were sorry the season was over and they'd just had one of the worst beatings by their rival.

What was revealed was that there are many posters here and fans all over that take it harder than too many the players do. The Cowboys are 6-7 and Jaylon Smith is campaigning for the PB, what's wrong with this picture?

The Ticket knew they were jeopardizing their flagship status by taking it to the limit and a guy called in and said "hey, your guy was given a free ride by the Cowboys and he shouldn't be talking out of school". I don't remember which of them responded "well, every person on that plane knew he was there representing this radio station as a reporter. Why aren't you asking why they felt so comfortable to be showing they didn't care". He went on to say this wasn't the entire team and there were players really down and he never mentioned any players by name.

Bottom line, Booger retaliated and every member of the on air team was overjoyed that they no longer had to put up with him. You know that little tirade of his with the present flagship station? That happened too much off the air with the guys at The Ticket.

Who? Not my friend man. And again you prove you know nothing about the inner workings of a team. They have quit on Garrett. They arent going to play nor practice hard for him. Jerry is doing more harm to this team than good by keeping his step son here. Grown men or not.

:lmao:
No that is ****** rich.

here is the order of blame in a game played by actual players
1) players
2) players
3) players
4) players
5-9) players

10) coaches

Every coach that ever coached and every plyer that ever played will tell you the same.

YES, the coaches are to blame for sure. But BY FAR the players are always first as that is who actually plays the game.

Im pretty sure reporters arent allowed to view practices, so how did they see this?

So, since they have quit on Garrett, do you see us winning any more games this year? Do you see us winning the division?
