"Now I would wager that if he [gave everything] to buy the team, he would do it exactly like I do it,” Jones told 105.3 The Fan in Dallas. “I would wager that. Because you just want to, ultimately, with that much on the line and that much at stake, you want to break any ties and make the calls.”

Jerrah will never disparage a former Cowboy great. He just won't. He treats them like gold. Thats just him.

“It’s a misnomer to think I just throw darts and just say, ‘We’ll do it this way, that way,’” he said of his management style. “I’ve never done that. But as I’ve said many times, I’ve never not made the ultimate decision.”

Might as well be throwing darts with a blind fold on because you are not an expert at running a successful franchise. It is foolish to think you are an expert at something just because you have been doing it for a long time. He has improved, especially after his time with Bill Parcells, but there is still something inherently wrong with this franchise and he clearly isn't the guy that is going to fix it.

I did everything and anything I could to get to live the life I live and that’s to be involved in everything from socks to jocks that there is with the Dallas Cowboys.

Pretty much sums up why this franchise is going to have to get lucky and have the stars align just right before it ever wins anything again.

This team is Jerry's hobby, he is like a crappy singer that goes on American Idol and is shocked when the judges tell him he just isn't as good as he thinks he is. Like them he is walking away saying you are going to be sorry, I will show you. 25 years and we are still waiting.

That said, it is his money, it is his team, he can run it anyway he wants, but don't try to blow smoke up my bleep and tell me this guy is 100% focused on doing what it takes to win, that is complete nonsense.

Has Jerry gone cross-eyed in his old age? Or is he just pinching a loaf?

The only person I literally can see giving it to is Troy. He’d still have his hand in it and he respects Troy.

That being said not happening lol

Ya gotta give Jerry credit for not making any type of personal attacks on Troy. Most people would, after being criticized that way. Not that Troy was wrong, or even that he was wrong to say it. Just saying ya gotta give Jerry some props for not turning this into a distraction.

Uh what's he going to say against Troy? The facts back him up, 23 year.

There are things to be mad about with the Cowboys but I don't think this is one of them. The Cowboys have assembled one of the better rosters in the league so Jerry having the GM hat isn't hurting the roster.

I think a lot of us have known someone like that at one time or another, now the purchase isn't nearly as large but the I paid for it and I will do as I please with it, has a familiar ring to it. Hopefully his persistence will pay off, what choice do we have.
ZERO.

I don't know how many of these owners played football in the SEC or were the captains of their undefeated National Championship team and love the games like this crazy old man does. He loves it, he loves football, loves being a part of it and it's not changing until he passes.

Yes he's crazy as an old bat but that's Jerry Jones
He played in the SWC, Jerry needs to be smart enough to know what you don't know.

How did Jerry become this successful with Jerry-speak? If I went into work tomorrow and started rambling on like he does people would look at me like I am crazy.
He surrounds himself with very competent people in his business interests. But the cowboys are his personal toy. Jerry will not share his toys.
