Aaron Rodger over Dak in Pro Bowl is Ridiculous

I usually don't start post but this really has me pissed. Aaron Rodgers is behind Dak in relatively EVERY Category/STAT they keep for NFL QBs and he beats out Dak for the Pro Bowl. Now I know its sometimes a popularity contest and I know that if its close then you go with the all pro. Maybe its about the winning record, but don't tell me DAK hasn't outplayed Aaron Rodgers this season. I aint crying but this is some BS. Dak has nearly a thousand more yards passing.

I wouldn't say ridiculous but it is wrong..

its supposed to br who had the best year not craeer so yes dak shoud have gone but it is a popularity contest and great players get credit for their past..its just part of it..

My question is off-topic but I am curious what is your opinion of the annual NFL Top 100? Its beauty pageant balloting system is more flawed than the NFL Pro Bowl 1/3 players | 1/3 coaches | 1/3 fans voting process. Just wondering myself because the Pro Bowl receives more (arguably deserved) grief from fans than the NT100 does.

I struggle to lose sleep over this.

Dak has really impressed this year.....at times.
He has also looked like a scrub, and padded his stats in late game garbage time....at times.


My guess is he gets in after someone cant go, but I'm not sure he is really that deserving of a spot this year.

Are we now pretending that every QB doesnt have some padding of stats during late game garbage time or against garbage opponents?
Or is this just unique to the guys we want to discredit? hmmm....

Pro Bowl has been meaningless for years. The players were all in with pure unadulterated desire to be the best. Eventually, the reality of injuries and salary loss took the game to its present state.

The thing is, doesn't every team take what they can get in an effort to win against the odds late in a game? Dallas almost pulled a couple of games out of the dumpster before it caught on fire. All teams have won improbable last second victories.
Of course, the some of the Rams looked visibly whipped by halftime, and quit playing hard.

Not trying to discredit dak at all, just being realistic here. Just because someone isnt 100% dak home doesn't make them haters. I give the dude props, and he has shown a lot of ability that I didnt think he had. I just dont think he has been a consistent performer this season, and hasn't been top 3 at the position. Gotta look past just stats for the pro bowl.
