I usually don't start post but this really has me pissed. Aaron Rodgers is behind Dak in relatively EVERY Category/STAT they keep for NFL QBs and he beats out Dak for the Pro Bowl. Now I know its sometimes a popularity contest and I know that if its close then you go with the all pro. Maybe its about the winning record, but don't tell me DAK hasn't outplayed Aaron Rodgers this season. I aint crying but this is some BS. Dak has nearly a thousand more yards passing.

Rk Player Team Pos Comp Att Pct Att/G Yds Avg Yds/G TD Int 1st 1st% Lng 20+ 40+ Sck Rate

When you're 7-7 and 1-6 against teams with winning records, yes, it is stat padding.
So Carson Wentz has been stat padding also then? And Baker Mayfield. And Phillip Rivers. And Derrick Carr. And Jacoby Brissett.

Yet these guys dont have the stats Dak has..... hmmm.... why?

Outside of Christian M. who deserves to be the RB's other than A. Jones from GB who we put in the HOF. who else deserves to go in the NFC? not Barkley, not the saints back.

9 of his 24 TDs have come against the Raiders and Giants

10 of Dak's TDs have come against her Giants and Commanders.

Of all the argument why Dak was better or Rodgers was worse, <WHO> they threw their TDs against just doesn't matter much -- all QBs feast on inferior opponents.

How about Chris Carson or Dalvin Cook -- both over 1000 yards rushing this season.

Aaron Jones in a nice RB but not an every-down player. He averages 13 carries per game.

Good. Hopefully every Cowboy gets snubbed and uses it as motivation.

Part of pro bowl is players and coaches voting. The only players who vote for Dak are on this team. Aaron has earned the respect of players and coaches by carrying his team into the playoffs multiple times in the past while the guy who carries our offense, well he also made the pro bowl for that reason.

Ahhh so record only matters when it's a QB now? Even though all other positions also determine outcome. Might as well not pay any other position then.

Shhh

Why do you think wins and losses are attributed to QBs? Because they're NOT important to their respective teams? Come on. You're being intentionally obtuse. I knew that the minute you inserted a DT into a discussion where QBs were being compared. But here's something else to cut your teeth on:

Green Bay is 6-1 against common opponents we've played. Dallas is 4-2. This takes into account our weak-arse division compared to their two 10-win team division. Plus, oh yeah, they destroyed us in our own building during the season so it's actually 7-1 vs. 4-3 if you add that in. All 3 losses of ours is against Green Bay's division where they're currently 4-0 against their rivals. So please stop.

You're off base. Just because you don't have the stats doesn't mean you aren't stat padding. The question is do the stats you have warrant consideration or not, not that anyone in those positions will have leading stats as a result. Way too many variables to come to such a simple conclusion, but I'm sure you know that.

So then put Jimmy G in over Rodgers. If wins are the only thing that matter along with head to head.

But no, saying wins should be the end all be all for individual player's awards is simply ignorant.

Rather have Dak practicing and working on his game to improve than worry about some Pro Bowl.

26/11 is drastically worse than 24/2.

The talent surrounding Dak is drastically better than Rodgers (especially when Adams was out for awhile).
There are still a couple more guys who deserve it after Rodgers and before Dak.

This thread is a joke.

Rodgers is 24/2 vs 26/11, TD/INT. I think he beats Dak. I'm always bias and Dak should of made the Pro Bowl but Rodgers does deserve it as well. Even if this is his "off" year.

I'm surprised the players care about pro-bowl honors as much as they do. Being a pro-bowler doesn't prove validation, like it used to.

Rodgers also got the NFL MVP award of Romo in 2014 (I think that was the year) even though Romo beat him in basically every statistical category while missing a game or two that season.

False

Rodgers 341-520 (65.6%); 4,381yds; 38 TDs; 5 INTs; 112.2 QB Rating
Romo.... 304-435 (69.9%); 3,705yds; 34 TDs; 9 INTs; 113.2 QB Rating

Plus Romo had the benefit of the all-time franchise performance at RB eating up 1,800 yards on the ground who also got MVP votes. And Romo missed a game due to injury so you can't take away from the fact that Rodgers was more durable.

Rodgers has as many wins as Jimmy G. LOL.

Those last set of numbers really laid the whammy, didn't they? Just cry uncle already, son because you're not good at this. Jeez.
