yes ultimately its "the culture" that the jones boys installed into this team but jerry didn't ice his kicker and all the countless other time management blunders the carrot top is directly responsible for on the field.

there is actual evidence on the field during play time of how bad JG is at being a head coach.

actual evidence. tons of it.
Im not disputing that hes a horrible coach. But there are greater things happening beyond Garretts power that is a detriment to this team. Jason is just a piece of the evidence of poor team management.

Not surprising about the two camps in the defense. As soon as Richard was hired there was talk about him being the future DC or even HC. They presented him on a silver plate rather than having him earn his reputation.

got ya. very true. JG should have been fired along with Wade in 2010.

but as for the jones boys unfortunately the owner is not going to fire the gm.

best we can hope for is getting an actual HEAD coach and going by the philosophy of "a broken clock is right twice a day"

this is all cowboys nation has right now. all we have.

we cant expect the jones boys to die or sell the team. those expectations are simply masochistic in nature.

David Helman on the break today insinuated something very similar.

I am paraphrasing this but he said something along the lines “I think there’s been a disconnect mainly on the defense, but also bleeding into the offense. And I think over the next weeks and months people say start speaking in more detail about it”

Says there’s a lack of accountability. If Philly wins next week, there will be a lot of drama released. I also recall that there is a division amongst the defense. Broaddus talked about it earlier this season. Some are Pro-Marinelli, and some are Pro-Richard (Jaylon and D-Law). Might be why our defense sucks and can’t do anything right.

Garrett gave up, so why should the players take up the slack?

I don't speak on a definitive basis, but optics are what they are.

If true this will be fascinating because Garrett has built his "vision" on preaching accountability.

"Fight"
"Compete"
all these flashy slogans, etc.

I mean, I know it's just a slogan on a t shirt and I get that, but the fact is this is how he has built his vision for his tenure as head coach. This is how he sold and positioned himself

if it was all a facade and the evidence is about to come pouring out, it's going to be ugly. Even uglier than any of us might suspect.....
NO!!! Don't tell me that the Red Clapper went to a Dodger's game or a Kentucky basketball game instead of preparing for one of those pesky, playoff games????
That would never happen if your coach was committed to winning.

Well the defense held Philadelphia to 17 points and I would say you could even say less than that because of the NFL offense I did not see time with possession yet but I'll guarantee you the defense played over half the game? Pretty tough when you keep getting putting on the field most of the game? But I would have to agree there seems to be some division or some issue somewhere there
The defense was on the field for 36 minutes yesterday.

Garrett got the kush and took advantage over spending every waking moment to hone his team's edge and gameplan his opponent to death.

I figured. This team has never had unity. There's always divisions in the locker room it seems. That's what separates okay teams from the great ones.

So he has set his career high in targets.

that means on less opportunities the cowboys got as many TDs, more catches and more yardage using him as they did.

That’s the opposite.

The whole point was everyone said he left for a money grab and laughed when he said the Bills were legit. They are better than us and he’s thriving
