Will we defy logic and make the playoffs

This season has defied logic in every way. We were built to run the ball yet we somehow turned into a passing team leading the league . Our defense was supposed to be a force . It regressed badly .

We lost to teams we should have beaten . We beat a team in the Rams we should have lost to then lost to the Eagles who were decimated with injury.

Will we beat the Skins and get into the playoff with an Eagle loss in spite of ourselves . I see it happening as every other unlikely thing that could have transpired this season has come to pass . Why not a playoff birth .

And then do what when we get there?

Whoever gets in can beat Seattle. They have 0 running backs worth a crap.

Anything can happen.

Likely, the Eagles go on a nice run for the NFC Championship and fall short

Put down the eggnog
I hear you brother but its just like nothing about this season makes any sense. Watching this team anymore is like beating myself in the head with a hammer because it feels so good when I stop . Just when it looks impossible something drags us back from the dead .

We don't deserve to be in the playoffs. I don't even want luck to be on our side. Luck should only favor teams that are competent enough to do something with it.

Thats very hard to say because I have no clue what team will show up . The team that beat the Rams could win a home playoff game the team that played the Eagles didnt look like they could beat a high school team

That’s why I said the Eagles likely go on a run. We aren’t getting in

I already said it, the odds are better for Dallas to win the East. NY will pound Philthy and we beat the Skunks somehow.

SF will beat an injured Seattle team and Dallas has a fighting chance against them if the correct Dallas team shows up.

That puts us in the divisional game and a chance for the carrot to save his job. This is maddening yet highly plausible

Not sure at all but they did struggle with them a couple weeks ago and are not any better health wise going into this game . Its a division game not a lock for the Eagles

Match-ups, Philly got even more beat up against us and it is in NY. It is just the way this division and season has gone. Expect the opposite to happen. I don’t like it either.

Nothing surprises me any more. I thought that the egirls might lose to the giants. But we will have to beat the deadskins and after last week I am not so sure we can. We should have beaten the egirls by the end of the first half and when I heard the score was 10-0 I thought we had the 10 points. Once I found out it was the egirls with 10 points I knew we would lose. This year the team just can’t come back. And I have no explanation other than we abandon the run constantly and put to much on the passing game. We become one dimensional and easy to defend.

I wear some form of Cowboy gear everyday. It's a Cowboys cap. Strangers immediately know who I root for.

So, it has not only been people, like co-workers, who already know me. It is everyone who has been interested to find out what my opinion of the team has been this season. And I can honestly say, I have been telling everyone since the Saints game that I do not have any clue about this team. That they frustrate me. And I have little to zero confidence in what they will do week-to-week.

For example, people were trying to convince ME how impressive the team was following the Rams win. My reply was still the same. "Dallas has not proven anything for me to say we have gotten straight yet." Others were surprised when I told them, "I know these players. I know these coaches. So do not be surprised if we show nothing against the Eagles, because I will not be."

Yesterday, people were telling me "wow". All I would say back was I hoped they have a better understanding why I have been shaking my head constantly during all games since the end of September. And even during wins.

Sums up my confidence level also. The team should beat Washington. Heck, they should beat Washington even if Garrett freezes Forbath on a field goal attempt. However, they should have beaten an 0-4 Jets team whose quarterback had not seen any playing time while recovering from mono too.
