Has everyone finally come to terms on Dak?

He’s not “elite”, there is only about 4 of those but he’s a top 10 QB you can win with. I think with his work ethic he has the chance to become elite but he needs to be more consistent. I just think this was a weird year. He had elite games and he had bad games. He was inconsistent like the whole team was. If he won’t come down on his price, tag him and see what new coach wants then go from there. Overall he has had a good year even though record doesn’t reflect that.

No one can say Dak is an elite qb based on his play to this point, if you do it just proves your standard is low.
Now could Dak turn into a QB that can take us to the Superbowl? If we get a solid defense, maybe he can Dilfer this team to the Superbowl....
Maybe he can still develop into an elite QB, problem is his contract is up so do we make a third contract mistake (others being overpaying Zeke and Tank) and WAY over pay Dak? not too sure about the leadership either. during the game last week i didn't see much from him other than setting sulking on the bench. I might have missed him firing the team up but it didn't work.

With this reasoning we should have cut Romo after his first season. Dak Prescott is not elite and might never be, but he is a serviceable QB and those are just as hard to find. Now if you don’t want to pay him franchise him and let him play another year. Let whOever takes over from the red menace evaluate Dak. I personally would like to see what this offensive group looks like under a compentent HC and an OC who doesn’t have training wheels.

Look at the coaching staff. Dak has been dealing with less and until Amari showed up, our receivers were just serviceable outside of Dez.

We did see significant improvement when Kitna came.

Dak, Jaylon, Witten, and Garrett threads!!!! I'm thankful people keep recreating the same tired threads over and over as if it's brand new ground breaking information.

Dak is the QB next year and certainly isn't a bad one despite what the haters tell you. I agree he hasn't earned a top 5 pay day and has struggled the last few week's. Maybe Aaron Rodgers should be a backup too because of his underwhelming performance the last few weeks? What many dont realize is QB play can get a lot worse, just look at Aikman's last few year's until they found Romo. And investing a first round pick in a QB? One of the highest bust rates in the draft and sets a franchise back years.
