Has everyone finally come to terms on Dak?

Is everyone finally seeing that he's not the elite QB most of thought he was when he initially took over for Romo?

Do we still have some on here that believe he's top 5 or 10. And that anyone who says otherwise is a troll or eagles fan?

He's not the answer, and I pray we don't waste another season or 2 on him before we get it, like we did/ are doing with Garrett.

Cut losses early.

I'm glad he got greedy and said screw that huge extension.

With this reasoning we should have cut Romo after his first season. Dak Prescott is not elite and might never be, but he is a serviceable QB and those are just as hard to find. Now if you don’t want to pay him franchise him and let him play another year. Let whOever takes over from the red menace evaluate Dak. I personally would like to see what this offensive group looks like under a compentent HC and an OC who doesn’t have training wheels.

Last time I checked our wideouts played like trash last week. They dropped a bunch of passes. Dak isn't Johnny Unitas. He did more than enough to get the ball to the guys. THEY FAILED HIM. Not the other way round. Dak is better than 90% of the NFL QB's out there.

I am still on the fence about Dak. No he is not elite, but he is not horrible either, above average, which is still hard to get these days.

I want a new HC to help decide what to do, not that Jerry will accept that. He may get a deal in place before he names a new HC for that very reason.

But over $30 million is a huge waste, and nothing over 4 years like Dak wants. At this point $25 million should be offered. I prefer tag him, and draft a QB as well.

At this point he should be franchised and let him play for a new deal in 2021. Let's see what this offense does under a new coach.

This is my thought. Guy has some things you can’t teach...extending plays by breaking tackles when our line breaks down. He also throws well on the run and we rarely roll him out...like they did Wentz. Let a new Coach try

Top 15 maybe, needs to have elite receivers to bail him out on his off target throws. That Rams game he had so many lame ducks that the receivers made great catches on made his stats look good.

Its hard to QUANIFY elite these days because its so overused. To me. elite means, does he do his job in key moments and win? The answer is..SOMETIMES. Meaning, when the staff gives him a chance and calls the correct plays..he is pretty darn good.

Dak had his chance....He FAILED....next, please!

he is a starting NFL QB. MANY teams would be more than happy to steal him from us and pay him what he wants.
Agree!
Everyone above your post is a Dak hater. It's time for me to put them all on ignore as well.

Dak is a wonderful young quarterback. He's as tough as Romo was. I wasn't too happy with him playing and taking a pain shot in his shoulder before the game. He could have literally damaged it for good.

Dak will get paid and remain a Cowboy for many years. Picking him in the draft is about the ONLY thing I can thank Garrett for.
