If that were 100% true there would be no need for coaches at all.

I think the point is the coaches did their job of putting players in the right play call to make plays. Those players even got into position to do so. But they failed to finish those plays. People bag on the "scheme" all the time but if receivers are open isn't that what the coaches goal is?

coaches are more like babysitt
For the 800th time, Dak is injured. Sheeeeeez.

when you suit up and take the field, and you say the shoulder didn't hender you, you have to perform. otherwise sit. I love Dak as much as anybody, but he suited up.

Lolol..it's basically 2020 and people still think this is true..embarrassing

So how many of those plays that would've won the game by two Touchdowns could the coach change. The players know it too, it's why they say it, the film don't lie.

This wasn't his only horrible passing game this year. We lost almost every game when we had to lean on him.
Shouldn’t have to lean on him with the highest paid running back in the league.

I hope Garrett is sent packing the second this season is over and he cant take all his assistants with him.

I will, however, concede that this game was lost by the players on the field. Dak either sailing or skipping balls, receivers dropping passes that they should have easily made, Pollard fumbling when we were in scoring position, the defense not forcing turnovers against a very depleted Eagles roster, it goes on and on.

In hindsight could we have done things schematically different? I'm sure we could have but hindsight is 20/20 and in all reality, whatever the gameplan was, it created enough opportunities for us to win the game and we just didnt get it done.

Like I said, I am no fan of Garrett and I am more then ready to move on, but this game was very winnable with the gameplan we used but you cant drop multiple passes, make errant throws many times and think the offense is going to hum along on the road in what is essentially a playoff game.

Garrett has, in my opinion, had more then enough time to turn this thing around and get this team further In the playoffs then he has, and that goes way beyond one game against the eagles, that's what will ultimately get him fired.

This game wasnt on Garrett but it adds on to an already disappointing season that he also played a roll in. Ill give @Dre11 this one, Eagles game was lost by underachieving players, but this season as a whole? Garrett needs to take responsibility for his role in the outcome as well.

QB's still have to make plays. Smart teams load up to stop zeke/ Pollard. Make Dak throw is a better chance to stop this offense.

That's true, but it's the coach's job to set up a situation where their team can win. It's up to coaches to study the opponent and come up with a game plan that exploits their weaknesses and gives their team an advantage. If they players don't implement that plan and thus lose the game, that's on the players, of course. But if a coach puts together a bad game plan, or worse none at all, he's setting his team up for failure. If the coach fails to make halftime adjustments in a game plan that's failing, that's on the coach.

Garrett will be gone, it's become too toxic for him to come back, but I bet when Stephen and Jerry see the films they see what happens on the field. they don't fire players ,they fire coaches.

Speaking of Pollard's fumble and players. Could you imagine this place if that was Zeke that fumbled. This place would have had 1000 threads on that.
Agree, the offense with dropped passes and off target passes helped contribute to the loss. But yet again the defense FAILED big time also. Stop Ertz, pressure Wentz. But failed at both, as usual.

A better scheme and coaching would have figured that out and made adjustments. The players failed on both sides of the ball, but the coaches failed as well. Agains not prepared and no adjustments.
