I'm going to refrain from bringing up the 2007 and 2009 playoff teams (07 was a #1 seed), because one could say BP had a lot to do with those rosters.
The 2014 Cowboys made it to the divisional round vs. Green Bay. Tough road loss, and yes Dez made the catch, but when you lose a playoff game, it's NOT the owner's fault...it's NOT the GM's fault (in this case, both of whom = Jerry). Dallas was in position to advance to the NFC Championship game. They didn't, so you have to point the blame toward the HC and/or the players. How much blame does Garrett deserve, relative to the players? I'll leave that up to you. All I know is you can't blame Jerry there.
2016 -- same deal, only this was a #1 seed! A #1 seed, 13-3 season record, is testament to the roster, which you have to give credit to the FO. Funny how no one was talking "circus FO" during that season when Dallas won, what, 9 straight.
Lose in the divisional round, at home, to GB?? Sorry, that's all on Garrett and/or the players (again).
2018 -- Similar to 2014, losing a road divisional game.
Get the theme here fellas? As much as y'all want to pile on the owner and the GM, a little bit of coaching could have gone a looooong way in at least 3 post-seasons during the last 10 years.
Fire away.
