Agree. Many of us fans have had enough of Mr. 500. Ten years in anything tells a lot , and JG has had his turn. I'll go through another rebuild with a new
coach who isn't as conservative to get some fun back in watching the games. This superstar team one game, street corner begger experience the next has run its course

The Eagles game showed the difference of what a coach( Pederson) can do when faced with adversity and a must win game/games.... JG hasn't shown that during the
course of his tenure.

Define "go right for Garrett"...………….in other words, what is the bar. Is it making the playoffs? Winning a playoff game? The NFC Title Game?

I want a clearly defined bar stated and understood by everybody before the season starts if this is what is being thought of. No more, we will talk about it later. And if Garrett doesn't hit that bar, he is gone 5 min after the season ends. We are not doing this where is Waldo game anymore where Garrett just hangs out at the Star for no dam reason after the season ends.

Why would Tony Elliot come here and make Garrett look good when he knows the job is his if Garrett fails. Its kinda like Garrett and Wade.
If Garrett comes back Im getting the baseball bat out and wont stop bashing until he is gone.

That seems to be the most logical explanation for the delay. If it was as simple as Jerry saying "screw all of you, I am keeping Garrett", then he would have just announced it by now. There has to be something else going on that would require multiple face to face meetings. The only thing that makes sense if what you suggested, that Jerry has offered Garrett a job in the organization, just not head coach. Garrett still wants to coach so taking a 9-5 desk job might not sound all that great to him and he needs time to think about it.

Why? Garrett has not excelled at anything. Personal feelings for a person should never get in the way of the best decisions for the team.

Jerry would've signed him last year if he wanted him as head coach. I think dude is gone.

Garrett has had a decade to prove himself. This was supposed to be his last year to prove himself again. If Jerry gives him another year then he might as well give him a lifetime contract because he clearly can’t let the guy go.

Or Jerry has him boxed in " I'll secure you financially with a non HC job " and in typical Garrett like action he's not making a decision as he wants to leave but won't just say so as he wants to protect his getting a HC job, preferably the one he wants, elsewhere and knows that until his contract expires he cant do that.

Not going to speak on the OC from Clemson. However, it's funny that Jerry ask the players what they think about JG, considering they know how much Jerry loves JG. Nobody in the entire organization is gonna tell Jerry the truth if they value their jobs.
