Would you kick the tires on Antonio in 2020? Cooper is likely leaving Dallas so how about Antonio? This thread only factors in if he isnt suspended.

Would you?
NO WAY !!!!!! The NFL would shut it down as soon as he was signed

No. You franchise Cooper this year, then let him walk. That way you have 2 full offseasons to replace him.
The only problem is you would have to sign Prescott before that you only have one franchise tag

Did I miss something? Link to Jerry quote saying we wont re sign Cooper?

If none, then why would we sign a headcase to a position that we have 2 1000 yard receivers?

It's a tight spot but I believe the organization is more committed to Dak and even Byron Jones than Cooper. We certainly will find out over the next few months.

You never know with Jerry Jones until it actually happens I wouldn't mind seeing Antonio Bryant here but I worry about his mental health when he's on the field and actually playing he's a different person?

Cooper is likely leaving Dallas? How can you come to that cocnclusion? He has said MULTIPLE times that he wants to stay in Dallas. Dallas gave up a 1st rd pick for him and is definitely happy with Cooper the player and person. It was Coopers agent that wanted to let the WR market get set by Thomas and Julio before signing a deal. I would be very surprised if Cooper was gone next year.

As far as AB... Im always in the camp of bringing in the better player. You could fill a contract up with all sorts of language that gives you cheap outs if AB cant stay quiet and do his job. Someone is going to sign him, and he will have multiple suitors.

My son asked me to explain the difference between AB and TO because my wife wanted to know.

TO burns his own house.
AB burns his own house and other people's houses and posts the destruction on social media.

No!

Until something drastically changes, I would not touch Brown.

AB has embodied around him a world of confusion, resentment and distrust. The Dallas Cowboys organization is surely in a position of attempting to recover from a year that has taken a serious toll on their own collective spirit. AB's influence would only foster more of same.

Antonio Brown isn't likely to permit a smooth transition into a better situation. No, he really shouldn't be welcomed into the Cowboys organization now, or at any other time in the near future. He needs a personal recovery too much for a mutually beneficial year to have any real chance to occur.

Besides … imagine the fallout after Dak throws three passes behind AB and skips another two off the turf. :omg:
Uh, that's a "No!"

Don't you think he's too old?
