55 for 828 and 3 tubs, keep or let go?

Did have some drops and a fumble or two but also had 2/3 TD’s and a few big plays get called back by phantom penalties,
He was about what I expected. Honestly better than I expected. I'd love to keep him for a few more years.

I think we've already got our top WRs. Cooper/Gallup/Cobb/Smith/Pollard. Leaves us room to draft a guy we like, but we won't have to.

Let Witten go. Bring on a TE or two. I've got no faith in Schultz either. Make him compete not to get cut. Train a T as a short yardage blocking TE.

Dump Olawale. I've been big on him, but for whatever reason, they used him even less this year than last, which was already laughably little. Old ST player who we do *nothing* with on offense. He's got to go.

Cooper and Cobb are both free agents. Cooper will want $14-$16M/year hence why I suggested re-signing Cobb and finding another #2 to partner with Gallup on the outside.

His ex team has a good HC and a very good QB who generally does not bounce balls into the turf or overthrow a receiver wide open.
Plus his ex teammates all play with a matter of pride and intensity.
That’s why they are watching the playoffs this week with a bye.

What is the price to keep him? Same deal as last year = keep, but if he wants huge money then cya sucker.

Cobb isn’t going to break the bank. Worth more than his contract will be. Keep him.

Good teams replace these types of guys in the draft. Hence his ex-team being in the playoffs with a bye.

.... Despite their offense.

And this GB team is the worst 13-3 team I have ever seen! Hence why why their expected win total was only 9.7. They’re no good.

Keep him. Sign him to the same deal he had this year if willing. Good locker room presence. I’d draft another WR tho.

If we can’t keep him though, it’s not that big of a deal. I still want to see more of Devin Smith

Agree we need a guy to cause the middle of the field to open up, preferably for the slot guy or TE.

Others march the filed using that approach but the Marinelli , keep the guy in front of you, hope they make a mistake, no turnover D leaves this stuff open most of the time.

Our current HC, doesn't seem to worry about the D side or ST field position. He's just focused on O, and his keep it close , win in 4th quarter style...

How many quality WR's do they have? Cooper is inconsistent, just as he was in OAK. I would keep Cobb at 1/3 the price for Cooper in 2019, get another FA WR and draft another in rounds 1 or 2 and let Cooper walk.

Take the passes he had called back and he is around 1000 yds. receiving.

Oh my.. Beasley never came that close to 1000..

Add in our other 2 WRs at over a 1000+ each and Zeke and his running/receiving at 1300 yds rushing +400 pass receiving..

and we have a championship offense. What we do not have is enough touches to go around.

If some position needs re-addressing its TE. Find me a 3 down TE who will not telegraph a special play upon entering the game.

Jarwin for now seems the best bet but I would like to see Schultz in that role or sign a FA in the offseason.

What we lack is the OC who can successfully run the offensive show and score the required points from such an attack.

You resign Cobb and look in the draft for another slot receiver.

I always wanted to see Switzer in the slot along with Beasley and Witten at the same time.

But it never happened under Linehan and Swit was traded away.

So now we get to fix this oversite and have a ball control offense that can hold the ball and punch it in in the redzone.

I like Cobb. He is good enough if needed to backup a WR position if needed.

If in a 3 or 4 WR set..Cobb is a very active target.

Me likey..

I don’t know how anyone can be disappointed in Cobb. He provided 10x the playmaking of Beasley in the slot.

55 catches
828 yards
15.1 YPC

He had a couple of legit drops. He also had a number of drops where Dak flat-out threw behind him on slants as he did with the other receivers.

You are quite simply a genius or a fool...
your statements are buffoonery at best... no wonder you are not working in the FO

Any thoughts on using Pollard in the slot.

His background from Memphis history...

He was a threat as a running back or slot receiver. He scored nine rushing touchdowns, nine receiving touchdowns and finished 15th in Memphis history in receptions.
