We all knew it was coming but it’s going to be costly to lure him away.

Another case of one "insider" reporting another "insider's" speculation and after a couple more report this all of a sudden everyone will think it's an actual fact that started by one "insider" speculation. Why is this speculation because Stephen has already said the search will be on coaches with NFL experience.
.
It's the sad state of today's media. As long as you quote a source who quoted a source, you are somehow protected from scrutiny (aka: blame) if later it ends up not being true.

God I wish I knew what “checking on” meant. Or “taking the temperature” meant. Are they calling his agent and seeing if he is available? It couldn't be that right? You would think Stephan or Jerry did that off the cuff last week right?

Sorry but Riley is a good college coach. He certainly is a splash hire for sure. But I'm not convinced he will be successful in the NFL. I would rather have a safe and secure hire than someone like a Riley or Urban.

Yeah, I'm a little skeptical myself. I want a guy with NFL experience.

Don’t expect much CZoners. They’ll handle this just like FA. Meaning “take a look” on top candidates but end up going with 3rd tier scrubs for the cheap and will let the Jones’ make all the decisions.

Hope I’m wrong.

I’m not understanding why we are not hearing any assistant NFL coaches names tbh.

Because JG didn't have NFL head coaching experience, so the Jones Boys aren't going the coordinator route this time.

Our front office is shrewd.
