Everything you need to know about why the Packers were so awful in his final 2 years, and why his relationship with Aaron Rodgers soured.

I don’t want this clown anywhere near Dallas.

Great article.

"Mike has a low football IQ, and that used to always bother Aaron," this source says. "He'd say Mike has one of the lowest IQs, if not the lowest IQ, of any coach he's ever had.

Jason Garrett: "Hold my beer."

But agree with the sentiment. McCarthy is nothing to get excited over. He will be another coach Jerry can completely control.

“Bleacher Report talked to dozens of players, coaches and personnel men who shared time in Green Bay with Rodgers and McCarthy in search of an answer.”

Keep your head in the sand if you’d like.
Not a credible source. It’s a fan run website. I don’t care what anyone says. Any coach that’s fired usually doesn’t leave on great terms.

Id accept Mike, but I would be somewhat apprehensive. If he was just sitting around, based on his last two years he would be a fat no. However he has supposedly put alot of work in changing his coaching approach.

ROFLMAO..... The guy was the Head Coach for 13 years.
If he was such a drag they would have moved on long long before they did.

This was a hatchet job by a bitter Aaron Rodgers.
AR fell in the draft because he is a jerk and he has proceeded to be a jerk at every turn throughout his largely brilliant career.

It should terrify all of us that a Super Bowl-winning coach who’s out of work after 2 horrific seasons...

Felt the need to completely change his approach in order to convince someone to hire him.

Say what you will about Rodgers, but he’s a smart guy. When he says that McCarthy’s football IQ is the lowest of any coach he’s ever played for, that should sound the alarms.

There is an article on The Athletic that McCarthy and Haslett reviewed every game he coached in GB to evaluate what he should have done differently. It does mean he has changed his spots but its a good sign.

I'd like to actually hear the tape of Rodgers saying that. Could be Fake News.

...and who was the OC with the 49ers when Rodgers was passed on for Smith?

"The San Francisco 49ers, who held the first overall pick, had hired a head coach with a strong personality in Mike Nolan. Nolan thought Smith to be cerebral, introspective, and non-confrontational. Nolan also evaluated Aaron Rodgers but did not believe that Rodgers's attitude could co-exist with him.[19] Smith was the first overall pick in the 2005 NFL Draft, selected by the San Francisco 49ers.[20] In July 2005, Smith agreed to a six-year, $49.5 million contract with the 49ers; the contract included $24 million in guaranteed money". - wikipedia

LOL Rodgers has declined as a player and still went 13-3 with a rookie coach.

McCarthy’s unemployed. Here’s how that fat idiot spent some of his involuntary vacation.

not to mention his ideas on analytics dept and 2 "futures" coaches.
but it doesnt fit the narrative being peddled.
stupid nonsense.
10yrs of Garrett has a dumbing down affect and clouds peooles judgment.

Watch the video on all the changes he’s made. You might fall asleep trying to get through it though.

The Peter King interview was a disappointment for me.

Especially when it sounded like how the main thing he wanted to do better was have a better itenrary.

Let me guess.

You bought into the yearly changes to the offense that the organization promised and did flips when we hired San Jay Lal.
