will we now be a WCO offense?

will he call the plays?

does the WCO fit Dak's skill set?

those are some questions i would like to know

and has there been a press conference announced?

It's going to be a lot of passing. You thought it was bad this year with Moore? Oh boy. Dak has a lot of work to do this offseason because McCarthy is pass heavy, like Moore. I feel sick...

I doubt very much that he runs the exact same offense he did in GB.

But West Coast or not, he's going to be pass-first, and that's what he should be doing. Zeke and Pollard will have much biggger roles in the passing game, if I had to guess.

We have no idea what it will be like and we have no idea if he will call plays.

I think it's clear that Moore is a Jerry "in training guy" so the head coach will run whatever Moore calls. This is a Jason Garrett being groomed to take over scenario all over again.

A boring run that’s predictable and that gets the qb mad and/or frustrated like Rodgers did while he was coaching the packers

we won't know until we know but he is from Paul Hacketts coaching tree which is a part of Bill Walsh's coaching tree.

so I imagine whatever it is the terminology and passing game will be traditional WCO but the running game could be different. Paul Hackett used bill walsh's offense as a template but had a different running game than Walsh.

Hackett coached under landry in the mid to late 80s here in Dallas.

zeke was 2nd in the league in carried by 3 of henrys.. it felt ike we didnt run a lot but more importantly maybe not abandons the run when its hot..that was Moores issues and that was growing pains for new OC..we ran quite bit but didnt feel like it..

the DC were 5th in the league in rushing and zeke finished 4th 30yards short of 3rd.. its not lie we went away from the run game..

It fits our WRs imo. We have two good outside receivers, we re-sign Cobb and we are in good shape. They didn't really use tight-ends much if I recall correctly. They did use a fullback with John Kuhn, so we might have a need there since Olawale hasn't done much since he got here. They almost always had a stout O-Line. Its all about how much freedom is going to be given to Dak. Rodgers was a master when the play breaks down in that offense.

I don't know why people are saying it will be the same....McCarthy's offenses were always more dynamic than anything Amateur Hour Garrett ever rolled out. The key is will we finally get a respectable defense in Dallas??

Word is that McCarthy has been studying offenses in his time away from the league. There is also a chance that Moore may remain and be the OC.

My big concern, as yours, is who is going to be the DC.

Less than 180 carries for Zeke. Praying Dak can make things out of nothing like Rodgers did. It's going to be a disaster. I don't buy all the hype that he's been studying trends and has changed, etc. People don't change. Especially NFL coaches. I guess Urban Meyer wasn't really interested or JJ wasn't interested in Meyer? Sigh.
