DAL could do worse than Richard as strictly the DB Coach, and you have to wonder who's out there on the market. So, I'm interested to hear the other DB Coaches you guys have in mind that hate the idea of bringing back Richard...and don't even care for the guy.

Whoever’s technique is not to tell the DBs to focus on the receiver and not the ball. In the world of Pass Interference it’s a MORONIC technique

Richard was the DC in all by name only last year but is one of the best secondary coaches in the NFL.

This feels like it needs an explanation: the Dallas 2ndary was pretty bad this year. Is that not a reflection of KR?

see this is all being dumped on Jerrys as his demands but its Nolan and MM might simply asking for an interview..nothing more then that..

everyone is the conspiracy theorist.. the same is being said about KM but MM actually told jerry he likes what he sees in a lot of the plays he saw called from KM and would possible keep him.. Jerry is not demanding those hires..no proof whatsoever..

why you choose to believe rumor and rhetoric? versus actually realizing someone posted Richard has ties to Nolan as KR played for him and its Nolan that may interview KR for DB coach..it doesnt mean they are hiring him nor does it mean KR wants to come back..

its not Jerry forcing this on McCarthy..smh.. believe the internet first its always true..twitter is real news..)

I like to think Richard was hampered by Marinelli’s azz philosophy. Maybe now the old fart is gone he can do what he do.

Richard was "Passing Game Coordinator" I doubt if Marinelli had much influence on our sorry secondary. His secondary was schematically wrong from the jump. Most QB's are right handed. Why put Byron in bump and run on the qb's left side and Awusie in off coverage on the qb's right side? Super easy completions in front of Awusie, add to that, Awusie is a terrible tackler like most of the defense. Tight coverage should have been to the qbs right (strong) side where he is more apt to throw hot on blitzes. It takes half a second for the qb to turn and throw to his left, this is where the off coverage should have been. Awusie would have had more time to react. This is basic high school football stuff....
