And if McCarthy signed this quickly it very likely means he actually wanted Kellen Moore instead of it being forced on him.
 he was unemployed and what separated him from a multi-million $$$ paycheck and no paycheck was acceptance of Kellen Moore. You've swallowed the whole bottle of blue and silver pills if you think McCarthy would immediately accept a coach he knows virtually nothing about unless Jones told him to. The very notion is absurd.

Moore will remain on staff because Jones wants him here, McCarthy has nothing to do with it. Moore isn't on McCarthy's staff, both of them are on Jones' staff.

Silly. He has a SB ring and sat out a year. He already had an interview with the Giants and was scheduled for interviews with two other teams.

The idea he has to beg for a job is ridiculous.

:laugh:sure he did. When he crashes and burns Wade Phillips style and is replaced by Moore, you'll be the head cheerleader acting like it's another great decision.

I guess 25 years of losing isn't enough for some people.

A 15 page thread that Jerry was forcing Kellen Moore on McCarthy and now Rappaport is saying McCarthy liked Moore the entire time -

There was an article on my Google Flipboard about a former player coming to the Dallas Cowboys from a small Market the Jacksonville Jaguars his name was Uche Nwaneri he was an offensive lineman he was talking about the culture in Dallas and frankly was quite shocked about all the signs about being great we are great and inflated egos he also called that bar circus-like atmosphere goes on and on and on the story came from Reddit he was trying for a reserve role as a guard if anybody has Reddit look up his name it's very interesting it goes to very deeply and what I always said the culture in Dallas is rotten and not just because of Jason Garrett he speaks of Jerry quite often in the article so here's his name and it came from Reddit

Uche Nwaneri

I've never heard of the dude honestly

The observant lineman so in fact if he saw it as this way imagine what some of these young players see when they come in a prime example of this icy in present-day is Jaylon Smith he sucked up to Jerry big time got a big contract I can't imagine a bigger Ego on this team than Jalen right now

A year ago Sean McVay was the darling of the NFL and Dallas has a smarter version of him in Kellen Moore. You don't toss that away because you finished 8-8 in a season where you had 11-5 talent. They aren't going to force him on the new HC either, but it would be dumb to throw the baby out of with the bathwater.

We were top 4 in yards and points per drive.

Who the hell came up with this saying anyway? Did somebody do this and then later that night think "well damn! I forgot to grab the baby when I threw out the bathwater!" HONEY! WOULD YOU GO IN THE BACKYARD AND SEE IF THE BABY IS OUT THERE IN THE PUDDLE WHERE I THREW OUT THE BATHWATER?

Moore is still learning, imo he can get way better.

Totally agree. And if Moore and McCarthy work together correctly it could be phenomenal. Remains to be seen obviously, but the potential is there.

The interesting thing will be to see who calls plays.

Funny because I read the origin of it at one point. In the middle ages boiling water took a lot of effort and hygiene wasn't understood well. So families bathed one a week with the Father/breadwinner going first in the clean water. Then it worked its way down the family line so the baby was last and bathed in dark brackish water that might actually hide the baby from view.

They submerged the baby in the nasty bathwater and nobody could see it? I guess after a couple of minutes of that there really isn't much reason not to throw the baby out with the bathwater.
