NFL Network's Jane Slater now reporting Columbo future is in limbo, .. while WR coach Sandray Lai is not expected to be back.
she's also reporting that they have offered the RB job to someone else,.. but if should he refuse, the players want the popular RB coach Gary Brown back
That's literally what's posted in the OP of this thread. lol

@Zordon I think I saw that, but didn't know who the person is who tweeted it, and there's no shortage of tweeters out there who spitball things for clicks. (I see now that it's a local radio guy.)

I thought no Colombo is in limbo while they see whether or not the next Browns head coach keeps their offensive line coach. He's the guy that worked for McCarthy and taught those 'don't get caught' holding techniques.

trash? nearly had 3 1k yard Wrs lol:facepalm:

blaming him for bad throws and drops? lol they simply arent keeping him because they have a new HC who wants his guy..

based on what ?
I thought Michael Gallup's development has been keen and on time. Cobb was productive as an immediate slot. Who knows the mystery of that 4 and 8 Philly game with both Cooper/Cobb
on the sideline.

frankly i'm not fond of Gary Brown who I suspect change the run form of zeke to more pounder and less splash runner ..and kept allowing zeke to keep tapping out, even if it was red zone territory.
Coaches have make these players sustain discipline and made accountable.
some fans her eon the interwebs think they know whats a goo or bad coach when they have zero idea what goes on behind the scenes lol

on your response Zeke rarely tapped out it was overblown, he chose when he wanted to rotate but still had 300 carries, 3 short of the most in the entire NFL..Henry was first with 303..

ridiculous acting like he tapped himself out so often because he was out of shape or didnt want to run.. some of those times he was hit hard or fell on top of and wanted a play or two to get his baring's..

when you have carried the most in the league over 4yrs and only 3 short of the lead this season, you basically are choosing your rotation for subs vs a ton of teams rotating not just one back but 2 backups in sub packages and why you see them with 80-100 LESS carries then zeke..

Zeke ran hard played hard and also stay din to block and catch passes..IMO best 3 down back int he league and wasn't the issue and should stop being mentioned for somehow being soft..pshh:facepalm::popcorn:

Wonder about this guy...

Tony Alford
Assistant Head Coach for Offense/Running Backs
Ohio State University

Tony Alford, who has coached collegiate running backs for 22 years, is in his fifth season as assistant head coach for offense and running backs coach at Ohio State University.

Alford has coached a 1,000-yard runner in each of his first four seasons with Ohio State: Ezekiel Elliott (2015), Mike Weber (2016), J.K. Dobbins (2017 and 2018). He has also coached two major award winners: Elliott won Big Ten Conference offensive player of the year and Chicago Tribune Silver Football award honors in 2015 when he barreled through a 1,821-yard season and scored 23 touchdowns; and Weber was the league’s freshman of the year in 2016.

Pretty sure Stan Drayton is the rumor going around right now.

zeke likes gary brown for some of the same reasons that the players liked Garrett. NO ACCOUNTABILITY. I remember watching all or nothing when the cowboys were on it and seeing Brown coddle zeke and display a very weak mindset. Zeke ran the show and brown pacified him, it was a bad look... I wouldn't be surprised if Brown is the reason why zeke comes in all fat and happy and takes forever to get going.. Gary Brown is under the Garrett umbrella of soft culture and must be GONE!

Think we managed to dodge a bullet on Matt Rhule.

Listening to his press conference on sports radio right now, and he keeps mentioning doing "things the right way" and I'm having vivid Garrett flashbacks lol

To tell the truth, I am surprised that any of the previous coaches are returning.

Garrett's message and everything was fine. That's just coach speak.

Where he failed was on Sunday's.

His our guys are better then your guys mentality is going to make things complicated for him I think going forward. I don't know if he'll get another job in the Pro game.

He needs to go to a power house team, recruit well, and feast on bad opponents all season.

I agree. Too much of his Buddy and not enough of his coach.
