I wonder if Ben Mcadoo will be hired to coach Tight Ends?

that would be another head coach on the staff.

he also had some bad things to say about Dallas a year ago or so which adds another element

...last time a Packers rookie made Dlaw look like a midget from the mighty mights. Packers always have been good at their Oline.

As OL coach he has had success including SB in Green Bay. I agree his time in Miami was not great but in fairness who has been great in Miami?

I know, just that yea, that tenure was tough to watch.
Had the leadership similar to a wet cardboard box.
But hey, all for him for O-line coach if he can get these boys to improve.

Williams, Redmond, Hyatt, Looney/Sua'Filo (if resigned)

Its a deep draft for OTs also, we could easily get a 2nd or 3rd round OT in the 4th that can be a good backup next year and eventually be a starter down the line.

I don't really care who they hire. I will assume anyone McCarthy hires will be a good coach he is familiar with. What I really care about is getting rid of Garrett and his way of doing it. Any of the coaches that were okay with Garrett and his ways, I want gone. I want a new attitude and players/coaches who are held accountable.

Looks like Jerry finally got feed up with losing. Finally. Too bad it took 20 years.

I like Marc Columbo and always will. I imagine he will be a part of a Garrett staff somewhere in the future.

having said that we now have added a third assistant coach with a lifetime of football experience and a former NFL head coach.

If Haslett is hired that would be four former head coaches as positional coaches here.

This is great news.

There are even more than that. Nolan was head coach in SF at one time, and even Fassel was an interim coach, with the Rams I think.

Hopefully he gets the most from our guys. OL looking good with the right coaching

Smith - McGovern - Frederick - Martin - Collins

Williams, Redmond, Hyatt, Looney/Sua'Filo (if resigned)

Smith, Collins, Fred and Martin will be fine. They just need to be kept on the right track. Williams and McGovern need to be coached up.
