You figure McCarthy spent the season going over everything from his early days to the final year in GB. He has been planning a return to the sideline and would think part of those plans would be who would he hire as assistant coaches when the time came.

Thank god. Where not have garbage this year like

1. We have to start Connor Williams because he was a top 50 pick and we'll look bad drafting him if he doesn't play
2. We can't get free agent starters because it under-mines the front offices draft choices
3. We have to pay Crawford 8 million to stay on the roster because "he's out friend and a locker-room guy"


Can't wait for all this Garret Era crap to finally be over

I like Marc Columbo and always will. I imagine he will be a part of a Garrett staff somewhere in the future.

having said that we now have added a third assistant coach with a lifetime of football experience and a former NFL head coach.

If Haslett is hired that would be four former head coaches as positional coaches here.

This is great news.
