Pretty certain that Alshon and Sproles are gone. It looks like Boston Scott is the new Sproles. This upcoming draft is full of WR's. Eagles haven't done well drafting WR's over the years (before Desean, the best receiver they drafted was Mike Quick--that's a long time). Kelce may retire, so expect Seumalo to try to win the center job. Dillard may take over for Peters. Sanders will be the #1 RB. Greg Ward may stick. An Eagles O-line of Dillard-LG??-Seumalo-Brooks-Johnson is a mix of young and guys in their prime or entering it. The starting backfield of Sanders/Scott is young. Ertz is entering his prime and Goedart is young. The Eagles offense can get young in a hurry. If Brooks and Johnson avoid injury they make up arguably the best right side in the game.

Defense...Cox is in his prime, Jernigan will be entering it, Barrett is young, Graham and Jenkins are on the wrong side of 30 though. Their DB's and young and learning. They have only two LB's that are NFL caliber. Not counting Hicks, as he is hurt so often.

Eagles are not as old as some think once they plug a few holes.

I never said they were old, only that they are always hurt. Next year when Wentz misses half a dozen games we will hear the same old thing about how banged up Philly is.

Far too early for this....but people are going to ONCE AGAIN go into next year telling us the Eagirls are the most talented team in the division? Last year they were the most talented in the league experts said. A lot of those names they are crediting for being good aren't very good anymore.

All they talk about is how they played when guys went down. Ok some of those guys just aren't very good anymore. Sproles and Howard, Alshon and Agholor and Desean....you're shocked older veterans are getting hurt?

McCarthy is a huge upgrade over Garrett. Coaching Matters A LOT in the NFL!!

Our Special Teams cost us a couple games last year. Possibly the worst Special Teams in the league. They will be GREATLY improved with Fassell as
the coach.

Our Defense was extremely predictable and basic last year, which made it easy, for Offensive Coordinators to game plan vs us last year. We will be improved in this area under Nolan.

While Peterson has been Philly’s coach we have generally played them very well.

Yes we are the team to beat in the NFC East next year!!

(Never forget all the lame ridiculous ways we lost games vs good teams, while Garrett was the coach!)

I agree. Many of the players they lost their backups actually played as well. I will say though, their coaching staff did a dam good job of preparing their backups to step up. Could Garrett have done that? No way!

No..we are not. Until we can prove that we can play consistent football with minimal mental mistakes we are not anything.

You're correct. And they do deserve that credit. Its far more than just guys stepping up. You have to prep those guys and they did a good job. Even with McCown to just get thrown in there like that. Wasn't the best performance but he was prepared.

Do I think Garrett could've done that? No. But to his credit and probably his best coaching job while here was the 2016 year when Romo went down. Previous years that would happen they would look terrible. That year they played far better and won 13 games when he went down.

We have 32 free agents. We don't even know what we are yet.

Same for the other three teams.
The number is rising. I read 22 a few days ago, then 28 and now it’s 32

Yes the Eagles are the team to beat until proven otherwise. I was shocked how Wentz was able to win that game with guys off the street playing WR. Ertz and Sanders were both injured and they took it to an otherwise healthy Cowboys team when it mattered the most.

Yes, let’s just gloss over the fact that the eagles have one of the oldest rosters in the league. Which is why they are always banged up.
Yet they still dominated us with back ups and most of that was on our players, not the coaching.

I think this team really lack focus and proper preparation from week to week. I’d say those performances were on the coaches and players.

They are the team to beat every year. Ask the other 31 teams in the league. It isn't just left in the NFCE . Every team wants to beat Dallas. Regardless of what they haven't done in the past 25 years. Which is squat. Every team gets it up to play Dallas. Been that way for years, and years. So, in a sense, yes they are the team to beat. Some teams treat it like their Super Bowl, and go to crap after the win. (I'm talking to you Trevor Semion)... hehehe
Keep telling yourself that, the entitled players probably think the same thing.

I agree some games were due to coaching but that last Philly game was about 100% on the players. The calls were there, the plays were there, the points were there and yet our over rated roster couldn’t deliver. Between Dak not being able to hit water if he fell out of a boat, 8 (EIGHT) dropped passes and our defense getting straight up out muscled and out run we never had a chance. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen so many opportunities squandered by specifically just the players.

I don’t care if BB were calling that game, we would have lost. Of course he wouldn’t over pay for a bunch of entitled prima donnas that don’t deliver.
