So heres the story. I have lived about 2 hours or so away from Green Bay for the last 30 years. I was born in these parts. Life long die hard Cowboys fan since I first started watching when I was a 10 year old kid. Made a new friend last year and we became pretty close. He's from Cali. He knew I was a die hard Cowboys fan but he didnt know that I absolutely despise the Packers. He ended up buying us seats to 2 packer games last year so I kinda had to go.

Ive been to 9 different Cowboys games in Dallas. Some at the old joint in Irving, some at the new. Gotta tell ya,.....the Packers game day experience at and around the stadium blows us right out of the water. I mean, its not even close. I mean,....this thing is a frikiin PARTY. a real snake pit. Im envious as hell. Ive always heard about it, but never saw it 1st hand to compare until last year. I WANT THAT in Dallas. I want a real homefield advantage for a change, a place where opposing teams are miserable. Tear down those silly paintings and the other niceties. Much more mud blood and beer,...and way less artsy fartsy. I want to win, and win big, especially in the playoffs. You cant do that without a true home field advantage. Dont know how to do it.... just get it done! Maybe drop ticket prices? More Joe palooka beer drinkin types and a few less latte sippers? I dunno,... I just know something has to change.

I think it just is what it is.

The circus atmosphere just leads to a circus vibe when you go to the stadium.

But... I think they made it in a way for dudes who love football to bring their wife and kids to the game and let them have some trendy cool things to see as well like Art, dancers, a giant screen, and all that fluff.

I loved Texas stadium. Att&t.. I went once and I just don't see myself throwing away all that money when my experience at home is just as good if not better.

NFL games just aren't that great to go to IMO.

You spend a ton on tickets, wake up early and fight traffic, finally get there, pay for parking, go in and everything costs a million dollars, watch the Cowboys underachieve for 4 quarters, fight the crowd back to your car, and then fight traffic once again.

I forgot who said it, but they mentioned that as soon as they moved from the Cotton Bowl to the new stadium in Irving, the crowd was a lot more low key.

Ummm....no he can't, unfortunately. That whole town empties to go to those games in Green Bay because there ain't crap else to do. That's not the case in Dallas.

LMAO

People always say junk like that and its sooooooo not true. Elitism that makes people feel better.

Im not sure what you are asking him to help with here? You want more drunk people?

The art and all that stuff has nothing to do with the game or anything else once the ball is kicked off. If the team is winning and they play important games at home its a loud fun place. Like most cities.

if you think its ever going to have a small town feel like GB or Buffalo you will be disappointed, it never will. Tickets are too expensive here as are parking and concessions and this is a transient city.

plus you have to remember the fans here are beaten down and have been getting up off the mat year after year only to have the same results. It takes its toll after awhile.

If the cowboys are in position to win the east next year and play a home playoff game or two it will be a great place to go. If they are 6-10 and this whole thing blows up in their face it will be quiet layed back and boring. That's the apathy that has settled in.

if it wasn't for the seat licenses the place would have not had sell outs in the last few years. 2015 and 2017 for sure.

It's Green Bay. Not exactly the most eclectic mix of people on the planet.

CowboysZone ULTIMATE Fan
Winning, consistently and in the playoffs. That will get the crowd into it and get more Cowboys fans than opponents fans in there.
Either from the season tickets holders going to games instead of selling them. Because they don't want to go to see a bad product on the field.

And for the ones that do sell them, if they are winning more Dallas fans will buy them instead of opponents fans.

Win on the field, win in the stands to make if even more of a HFA consistently.

I never knew eclectic meant boring, docile, beta esque :D
The Cowboys parking lot is nothing like that in the tailgate section. It's a drunk-fest within a rap concert at 120 dB.

Not that ive seen and Ive been there many times both at the old and the new. Trust me, there is a difference and its huge. i mean, i get it, if you have never seen something than its hard to compare. Just saying.....its wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy different. Whatever you think the experience in the tailgate area is at ATT figure that x 100.

I'm a season ticket holder, and I've been to multiple stadiums. I'm not saying it's the best, just that it has a scene.

Some places get way out of hand, like Buffalo.

Personally, I've never understood the fascination with tailgating or getting hammered at a football game. I'm there to watch the game, not get drunk.

I have been to two playoff games at AT&T, with the Cowboys splitting the games one win and one loss

I can tell you that I came away mystified with people saying we have no home-field advantage

Maybe it was at a different level because of the playoffs but both of those instances the stadium was loud and rocking and there was a definitive home-field advantage for the Cowboys, no question about it

not every stadium is going to be Arrowhead

my game day experiences at AT&T have been a blast and the crowds were very boisterous

We’re a wine and cheese crowd at home. Cowboys fans outside of TX are a little more amped up but that’s prob bc we don’t get to see them so often.

sometimes fight other fans depending on what team is there too
