So heres the story. I have lived about 2 hours or so away from Green Bay for the last 30 years. I was born in these parts. Life long die hard Cowboys fan since I first started watching when I was a 10 year old kid. Made a new friend last year and we became pretty close. He's from Cali. He knew I was a die hard Cowboys fan but he didnt know that I absolutely despise the Packers. He ended up buying us seats to 2 packer games last year so I kinda had to go.
Ive been to 9 different Cowboys games in Dallas. Some at the old joint in Irving, some at the new. Gotta tell ya,.....the Packers game day experience at and around the stadium blows us right out of the water. I mean, its not even close. I mean,....this thing is a frikiin PARTY. a real snake pit. Im envious as hell. Ive always heard about it, but never saw it 1st hand to compare until last year. I WANT THAT in Dallas. I want a real homefield advantage for a change, a place where opposing teams are miserable. Tear down those silly paintings and the other niceties. Much more mud blood and beer,...and way less artsy fartsy. I want to win, and win big, especially in the playoffs. You cant do that without a true home field advantage. Dont know how to do it.... just get it done! Maybe drop ticket prices? More Joe palooka beer drinkin types and a few less latte sippers? I dunno,... I just know something has to change.
