The team going forward is going to be a new team with new coaches and a new personality. Losers who live in the past should be only allowed to post on the Negative Posters thread.

Learn from history and your mistakes...well that's the problem with the Cowboys. We don't seem to do that and if we pay Prescott $35-40 million a year then that will give us what a season until we are completely stuffed for paying a guy 15 million a season more than he's worth.

Of course. BTW, FTFY. I was born after Super Bowl 30 and I still hate the Niners. Can't be a TRUE fan without knowing the history of your team. Of course I'd prefer Brees (who I like as a person), but living in Houston and knowing a bunch of Saints fans, ugh they're annoying. I don’t care about stats. Cousins and Garappolo have worse stats, but look where they are. I care about wins. Dak May have the better “stats” but where are these stats in times that matter most? Games that matter most? Kirk and Jimmy G show up when their teams need them most. Dak doesn’t. Didn’t see him improve these “stats” much in the 2nd Philly game, aka, the most important game of the season. Or the Bills game. Or the Bears game.

Don’t forget to add in the fact that half of Dak’s stats come from garbage time anyways. Remember that first Packers game where he got 3 TD’s in garbage time? Yeah, I do. Or that Bears game where he got like 2 garbage TD’s? Or the Bills game where he got that garbage TD? Half of Dak’s TD’s came from garbage time (aka, when the defense went into “who gives a crap we won” mode.) Jimmy G and Kirk don’t have these stats because they usually don’t play from behind, and if they do, they don’t throw 3 TD’s in garbage time because they lead their teams from behind.

I wish they had an ignore button so people that complain like you wouldn’t have to see posts from people you dislike so much....

A lot of players were getting injured towards the middle of the season. Kirk had to play without Theilan and had Diggs as his #1 for a while and won. Dak crumbled without Amari and Cobb.

Every team and QB has garbage time. Every QB and team plays bad teams and puts up good stats. On SF's schedule this year? Cincy, Cleveland, Wash, Arizona (2x), Carolina, Atlanta.

It's just funny that when it comes to QB play, stats mean nothing to you. The 'eye test' is a self fulfilling prophecy in which no amount of proof can tell you you're wrong.

But what if Dak's stats were bad? What if he had the supporting cast of a defense that scored points? Turned the ball over? Special teams that could score FGs reliably?

The goal posts are always changing and it's complete BS.

Dak is not a top QB. You won't find anyone arguing that. But he for damn sure is better than the scrubs on the field right now.

really? im sick of the Zeke and our run game needs to do this or that..sure they are solid but 2 backs have 29 carries for 134 in 3 qtrs. thats 4.6YPC

they are rewriting history books.. zeke had 80 yards before the half in game 16 hes had many games int eh first half near 6YPC

our OC for some reason went away from the run in the second halves of games but thats just a solid run game today..how its mesmerizing folks I dont know..

Dak throws 3 TDs and it's garbage time. Kirk and Jimmy do it and it's leading their team back Haha hypocrite much.

Go look at wins, Dak has more than any other QB not named Brady since he entered the league. Is playoff games not important or big games? Dak has a playoff win, last week and this week are Jimmy G and Cousins first playoff win. By the way Dak has never had a losing record since he has been drafted. Cousins has had plenty of losing seasons and Jimmy G finally finished a season without getting injured.

Its clear you either don't watch these guys play or you personally dislike Dak cause you are looking like a fool at some of the things you say.

It's the low arch of his throws, his situational awareness, and pocket presents that makes him fail the eye-test, to some. IMO.

1) what the hell does the arch matter if he's completing 70% of his passes
2) situational awareness has not been an issue. Coaching has.
3) Pocket presence was bad in year 2 and half of year three. He has made tremendous progress here.

I'd like to know. Because for Dak, the expectations are ever changing. Every time he proves haters wrong, the 'standards' suddenly change. He was far and away the better QB, when it comes to both Kirk and Jimmy G. What's the difference between the three of them? Why is one labelled an inferior passer (despite the proof to the contrary)? I can think of one reason, which I won't list but is incredibly obvious, especially when it comes to irrational hate. Outside of that reason, both of the other guys also happened to have experienced NFL OCs (Shanahan, Kubiak) and elite defenses.

Kirk's stats for 2019:

• 3,603 yds
• 26 TDs
• 6 INTS
• 58.7 QBR

Dak's stats:

• 4,902 yds
• 30 TDs
• 11 INTs
• 70.1 QBR

Jimmy G's stats:

• 3,978 yds
• 27 TDs
• 13 INTs
• 59.0 QBR

Stats mean nothing! A team can have a very good QB but decide to run the ball a lot. Its all about the QB being good enough to consistently convert 3rd downs. Or you can have a good QB that takes more shots deep which leads to more misses. Or a QB that just dumps the ball off short all the time. Everyone is gonna have different stats.

Not arguing, but in Garappolo's defense, he has one legit receiver in Littles. Dak had Gallup, Cooper, and Cobb. I think Dak and Garappolo are pretty much neck and neck. Jimmy G has better anticipation and better accuracy, but Dak is tougher, more athletic and less turnover prone.
