I don't dislike the kid, and I think he's an outstanding athlete.
But he has issues. Saying so does not represent an insult. Part of those issues came from being coddled by Jones and Garrett- who never made him earn his spot in the preseason.
Any competition- Kellen Moore included- were never allowed to play behind the first string linemen, and Dak was never forced to play behind second string linemen.
This is why he never improved. He was made a team captain in his second year, which showed the immaturity of the Cowboys.
Dak chokes under pressure, but he can possibly get past that with adequate coaching.
He needs to mature. He needs to quit believing the hype of his diehard fans.
He needs to improve.
He needs to be the "guy" if the Cowboys hope to succeed next season.
But the fact is that a guy like Case Keenum is better than him right now.

Didn’t he have the most 4th quarter comebacks for a while?

Isn’t almost 5k yards a sign of improvement?

Case Keenum :lmao:

At any rate I’m glade you’ll support him.
Daks stats are very misleading.
They don't show the games he cost the Cowboys with his poor throws, interceptions, choking, and quitting on the team.
Like most quarterbacks who throw for big stats he lost a lot.
The only stat that matters is Wins vs Losses.
Dak isn't doing too well in that category.
In 2017 the Cowboys were really 8-8. The only reason they got the ninth win was because Philadelphia rested their starters in the last game of the season.
So that's two 8-8 seasons and a 10-6 season in the weakest division in the NFL.
And the one 13-3 season was NOT because of Dak. It was because he was behind the strongest line in the NFL in the weakest division and had Ezekiel Elliott drawing the attention of opposing defenses.
Don't throw out stats to support your arguments; they aren't on his side.

You’re misinformed. Before this season It was constantly brought up that since he entered the league only Brady had more wins. How’d you miss that? So then people (similar to you or actually you) said he never put up big numbers. So now he’s done that too.

He quit on the team?? He was taking injections in his shoulder to play.

It’s very hard to take you seriously. I’m guessing you’re, as they say, trollin.

If so, grow up. If not use your head.

It's really hard to take folks seriously when they blow off reality.

His first three years in the league:

Since 1994, which is as far back as Pro Football Reference goes on this particular stat, Prescott leads the league in career passer rating when tied or trailing by eight points or fewer in the fourth quarter or overtime. He has a 109.7 passer rating in that situation, leading all quarterbacks who have at least 100 attempts when tied or trailing by one score in the fourth quarter or overtime. In fact, no other quarterback has a passer rating above 100 with Andrew Luck (97.7), Romo (95.4), Russell Wilson (93.8), Ben Roethlisberger (93.3) and Drew Brees (92.4) trailing.

He has nine fourth-quarter comebacks and 15 game-winning drives in his three seasons.

Dak isn't perfect but saying he "chokes under pressure" is ridiculous.

I like the kid but as someone once said, he would not have all these 4th qtr comebacks if he would start out strong, lol.
