“Kellen was someone I was watching from afar,” McCarthy said, “regardless of what opportunity worked out for myself. The opportunity to work with Kellen was something I was going to pursue either way.”

Clearly Jerry started meddling with McCarthy years ago!

I'm sure McCarthy really likes Kellen Moore.

But it is funny that we'll see McCarthy standing on the sideline next year not calling plays, when so many have been complaining about Jason clapping all this time and "doing nothing."

This is beyond ignorant for anyone to say

Calling plays is a fraction of a head coaches responsibilities...just bc Garrett didn't call plays and still brought nothing to the table, doesn't mean MM brings nothing to the table bc he isn't calling plays

Good start to the post that didn't need that last sentence.

Also saying Moore has the primary responsibility doesn't mean McCarthy won't veto a call or step in to call a specific play in some instances. Also Moore is going to answer to McCarthy as they develop the game plan together, there won't be a single play on the game plan that McCarthy hasn't approved for that game ahead of time.

That Jerry is a shrewd manipulator, everyone's enjoying the fruit and no one remembers who planted the seed

MM likes to script the start of a game so that’s gonna really be key after that point also

He saw how well the offense WAS performing then some coaching decisions hindered that all the games late we lost with bad coaching. He must’ve saw kellen and said I want him to implement my offense now.

Good point as it speaks volumes about your credibility...

Care to expand on that? Others get to post silly anti-Jerry posts but I don't get to post silly anti-those people posts?

By the way, you lost that sig bet. Garrett wasn't hired for a head coaching job. Time to pay up.

Sure, but I'll win the part of the bet that he will be back next year, which was my prediction in the first place.

Start trouble, get trouble. Just remember where the negativity started as well, while you try to pretend you're the positive guy.

Actually I'm the "if you don't like it don't read it" guy and the "this site has an ignore feature" guy.
