Ignore feature is for the weak minded. But if you come looking for confrontation - as you did - don't be surprised when you find it. Or blame that confrontation on anyone else or label them as "negative". The negativity here started with the first post.

Calling plays is a fraction of a head coaches responsibilities...just bc Garrett didn't call plays and still brought nothing to the table, doesn't mean MM brings nothing to the table bc he isn't calling plays

I agree, the post you quoted was an ignorant statement with trolling in my mind even though the dude that posted it didn't realize it.. To even suggest that McCarthy won't be doing much because he isn't calling the plays is an embarrassing thought process.

I'm sure McCarthy really likes Kellen Moore.

But it is funny that we'll see McCarthy standing on the sideline next year not calling plays, when so many have been complaining about Jason clapping all this time and "doing nothing."

He'll still be in charge of the game and the clock and the playcalling when called for. I bet when things don't go well McCarthy isn't throwing Moore under the bus. Maybe he'll actually talk into his headset once in a while as well? That would be pretty cool to see. With Garrett you never got the sense he was in charge but with McCarthy you already have it. Every situation including Moore was a search for the next scapegoat. That was the underlying theme every season. Who can we blame this mess on?

Also saying Moore has the primary responsibility doesn't mean McCarthy won't veto a call or step in to call a specific play in some instances. Also Moore is going to answer to McCarthy as they develop the game plan together, there won't be a single play on the game plan that McCarthy hasn't approved for that game ahead of time.

That’s my take as well. Garrett stood on the sidelines and actually looked like he was doing absolutely nothing. When the camera was on him, I don’t think I ever even saw his lips moving like he was talking to his coordinators. I would bet money that McCarthy will have a play sheet in his hand during games and will be talking to Moore in between each play. I think it will be kind of a consensus thing where McCarthy at any time can tell Moore what to call and Moore will then relay it to Dak. I would have to think this entire arrangement was part of Moore agreeing to stay. McCarthy will get the play he wants called whenever he chooses and Moore still gets to stand there with a play sheet and appear to be calling the plays.
