Yeah right HK
Sean Payton was long gone when Romo became a starter and was deeply buried on the depth chart getting no practice reps during the season when he was there early on. No doubt, Sean Payton loved him and wanted to sign him when he moved to New Orleans, but come on now.
And yes, in 2014, that oline was great. 2007 was good too, though a bit overrated….especially with the Pro Bowl nonsense hype fest. But yes, there plenty of talent around Romo for 2-3 years.
Those teams were very good, btw. 2007 had good balance.
Came up short.
That team started fast, accumulated lots of pro bowl hype, then were not really so hot the last month or two of the season., Limped into the playoffs and , like I said, came up short.
