What changes or additions to this team would make us Super Bowl contenders?

I see all the talk about keeping or letting go of Dak, Cooper, Witten, Lee, Jones, Awuzie, Heath, etc. We will need others to fill in certain roles. Some of you even believe we can win with the current team, if we retain the same starters from 2019, but clearly that's not enough.

So my question is, "What needs to be changed or added to make us contenders?" and "how many seasons will it take to get there?"

While I don't agree w/ his salary, DLaw is a very good DE and would be very difficult to replace.

I have no clue what to think of Jaylon at this point.

Get better at IDL, FS, and 100% improvement on Special Teams, would be a start.

Thinking of starters and depth we need a whole bunch
Right now two of our preferred starters at CB And another CB are FA
We have I think 3 DT under contract including one that was a healthy scratch most of the season
One starting safety is a FA and another depth safety
Our number 1 receiver, a TE,
Our starting DE
Our QB is not under contract
It’s gonna take lots of work to get back to the talent level of last year

Too many holes to be creating more holes even if it was possible

Move Jaylon back to whatever position he played in 2018 and leave him there. He was the coming of a legit NFL elite LBer. No idea what's happened since.......

I'm not sure he's able to plant and turn. Saw some plays where he couldn't.

Not sure it ever left. And I never could comprehend why we thought he deserved to be paid.

IMO, Jaylon is a gazelle playing a position where you need a root hog.

I don't think people yet grasp how truly awful Jason Garrett was as a coach, especially last year. There has never been a coach who so actively submarined his team's chances to win ball games.

It already happened when McCarthy was signed. Roster even with holes is good enough.. Having said that, sign Dak, get a couple of beefy DT's and a safety and sign Cooper..
