Dak to Chris Sims, I'm working on getting rid of bad throwing habits

May as well put this thread in its proper context before...well before you know what happens.

He was better this year at not holding on to the ball for so long. His accuracy is maddening sometimes, missing easy throws with wrs that are so wide open. I don't know if you can teach accuracy but that's my main concern with his.

Maddening is dead on.. I was wanting to throw stuff at the tv on Thanksgiving he was so bad at times yet good in between.. I dont throw things anymore because its flat screens and cost too much to replace LOL but I wanted too.2nd half of that philly game I wanted to hurt people..

I think he gets lazy/sloppy with his mechanics sometimes. But as long as he keeps working, it'll all become natural.

Inconsistency is what he needs to work on. He's already shown that he's more than willing to work on anything to improve.

It will be interesting to see how he can improve with a QB friendly HC, new QBC and his OC that believes in him.

What I don't understand is why get rid of Kitna when Kitna evidently helped Dak make a huge improvement in his passing and technique within 1 season?
Most of the improvement was the result of Dak's off-season work with John Beck at 3DQB. In interviews, Kitna said there wasn't much for him to fix, and that it was more a matter of making sure Dak was consistently doing the things that he learned.

. Serious 26 inch consul. Cowboys Pittsburgh Super Bowl. Smith dropped the ball in the end zone. The only time I broke a TV. And that was expensive back then. Youth LOL

We forget he's only going into his 5th year. Remember Romo would tell us at the end of every offseason he worked his game. He'd never tell us what but would promise we'll see the difference.
Yeah, he’s only going into his 5th season as starter. He should already be where he needs to be. He will never be on target as much as he should and we want him to be.

Thanks

for anyone interested in a time stamp, 4:50 is where to go. Before that, most of the interview is lightweight stuff

after he talks about He then talks about his ideal player to watch for mechanics (Brees) and then talks about his grip and he and Sins compared to bradwshaw, mahomes and Jackson.
