I can watch the ‘94 game...showed character and what a true championship team they were. Aikman making that pass falling down and Emmitt firing up his team on his TD. But like you..can’t watch the other. Danny White...good player who never really got credit much for being so,and took a real unfair beating from fans and media because he wasn’t “Roger”. He’s alright in my book though.I try and avoid that game and the 94 championship game...both hurt too much....the Catch game more because we were so close to having Danny get to a SB .
Given how awful our DBs have been at INTs, why haven't they hired Walls as an assistant coach?
When The Hoodie says in talking about Walls' ball-hawking abilities "he was able to pull that off better than any player I've ever coached", that's a big fat endorsement.
We went to one more after the catch game, Commanders beat us at rockin RFK.funny how we never return to the NFC title game and just flat got worse,..and at the beginning of the end was the regrettable Gary Hogeboom era.
then on to the Steve Pelluer, Kevin Sweeney, etc. etc.
Players got old, hurt often and useless in a hurry ..and worst was our drafting under Gil Brant at that time and era was outright awful ...
Indeed. Speaking of failure. Yesterday, January 28th (1996), was the last time our Boys won a Superbowl exactly 24 years ago.The real failure came after that.

The key there is in your post, all 3 were road games, had they had a better record those games would have been in dallas, and turned out to be wins.Yeah, Cowboys went to and lost 3 in a row. At Philly, at 49ers, at Commanders. Oddly enough, Dallas was favored in all 3. I think the Cowboys have to be the team with the most playoff losses as the favorite. I forgot the exact number, but I'm guessing 9? Does any team have more?

When Jimmy won the 2 sb's in a row he preached top seed, so they got the bye, 1 less game to play, and play all games at home.
The SF game , walsh was the better HC, and Montana was the better QB, he was hard to stop.
