I wouldn't be surprised if Jimmy G. played half of the 4th with a concussion after that helmet to helmet shot that wasn't called, and that would have given the 49ers a new set of downs prior to the Chiefs' go-ahead score.

What helmet to helmet shot was that? I didn't see one........Granted, I was watching the game at Hooters, but I payed attention to most of it.

Against the #1 pass defense, a 78 is like a 90 if you’re grading on a curve.

I bet that’s the best QB rating against that defense this postseason.

1. Glad Andy Reid finally got a ring, a good guy, had to deal with a lot of off the field issues with his sons.
2. Glad SF didn't get their 6th ring.
3. Glad SF is now 5-2 in SBs, when they were 5-0 and Dallas was 5-3, had the same wins but the forty whiners were all over the "yeah but we never lost one" argument, now 5-2 vs 5-3 is too close to crow about.
4. Glad to see a SB where the running game was a big part of both teams, maybe we can dispense with the notion that without the "elite", 5 td a game passer, you can't win SBs. Dallas is primed for a run (pun intended) at the SB with Zeke and a solid o-line, now if we can just get the defense to improve some...

Dallas should learn from this, the difference between SF and Dallas is that when SF flushed Mahomes out to his right, there was a DB or LB on that side of the field to apply pressure, Dallas shoots their ends inside, the linebackers crash the middle, and the right flat is wide open. All qbs have to do is roll out to their right, and they can run, look for receivers or throw the ball away with no penalty...

Right, running the ball and playing defense wins Superbowls......for some odd reason, whiners stopped running the football just when you would think they would run out the clock with it...........run it the whole season, through the playoffs at an enourmous clip, then stop with 8 mins. left in a superbowl with a 10 point lead?.......glad it happened to the whiners instead of the boys

i like that Reid won a Super Bowl which somewhat proves it was mostly McNabb that choked in the super bowl not him. Haha
Jimmy G is joe flacco. Both look decent surrounded by great teams but they are both the definition of bus drivers.
KCs defense wasn’t great, just adequate. They play disciplined ball and that was enough.
Although, no idea why SF stopped running the ball...esp when it was obvious Jimmy G wasn’t going to get it done via air.
QB and coaching was the difference like usual. You can’t overpay for those two and there is no salary cap for coaches...
