If Dak is 9ers Qb in the 4th, they win

That was a great throw but in order to catch it Kittle had to push off because of the coverage. Very good throw.

You know what, I don't think so. The throw was perfect. If Kittle just lets it happen, the D either has to allow him to make the catch or interfere. I think Kittle misjudged that play and pushed off when he didn't have to. That was such a good throw that it would have been there if he just does nothing and runs the route.

Dak is much much better at extending drives and moving the ball. Dak wins that game.
I was thinking the same thing and that pick Garoppolo threw is his game. He makes really bad decisions under pressure and his body language and facial expressions are all wrong when he makes a mistake.

We talk all the time about McMahon, Dilfer and Johnson on SB winning teams but all three of those QB's plays better than Garoppolo did in the playoffs. The Niners better keep that D together because that QB is not even 2nd tier.

Frank Clark with the shade....................

“He’s gotta throw the ball. Obviously he didn’t do that. They threw for about 200 yards on checkdowns; that ain’t enough to win a game against us.”

Dak’s one of the best deep ball throwers in the league. When does he underthrow a deep ball?

I know you are not going to agree with this but I think Dak underthrows too. We see WRs having to slow a lot with Dak. That's an underthrow.

Kittle was wrong on two accounts. By pushing off, he kept PI from being called and got caught pushing off. I saw that same push off happen twice on TD's in the playoffs, worse than that, and neither got called.

Hard to say. The push off helped. In real time I didn’t think he needed to do it. Either way I don’t blame Jimmy for that.

He doesn’t shut up. Never met a camera he didn’t like but he won so talk away.

When does he underthrow a deep ball?

A lot.

I did a garden variety google search and articles and videos etc popped up quite a bit.

Here's one from an article our season opener last year vs Carolina that I thought was interesting, because this isn't me "claiming" I remember something and other debating it through whatever lens they tend to look at Dak through.

This is Dak, in his own words, basically admitting that he had a wide open guy and made a terrible under throw (and late as well, imagine that).

Constantly behind the chains, besieged by the Carolina Panthers’ pass rush, Prescott finally had what he so desperately needed: A clean pocket and several options. The best one presented itself at the very last moment, just as Prescott thought about running for a first down. Spotting tight end Blake Jarwin running free down the left sideline, it looked like a certain touchdown as Prescott’s pass traveled 35 yards in the air. Instead, as Jarwin turned back to catch it, Prescott’s pass was too short, too slow.

“Got to make that throw,” Prescott said.

Too bad.

Interesting to note that the guy he underthrew here is Blake Jarwin. It's not like it was Tyreek Hill running free up the sideline. Blake frigging Jarwin. How the hell do you underthrow Blake Jarwin?

Dak is late and behind guys a lot. But if you are upset that maybe I was attacking Dak's arm strength, I'll concede that Dak's arm is certainly strong enough to overthrow guys as well as I've seen that happen frequently also. Bad accuracy is bad accuracy, whether over or under thrown.

Don't you have a pressing discussion about Romo to carry on somewhere?

Season opener against the Panthers? We did not play the Panthers this year but I’ll let you pretend like you know what your talking about. It’s cute lol.

Watch what Garrett does with Jones and Barkley. If he resurrects that offense, people here are going to go insane. LOL

Garrett can get good numbers on offense but his predictability winds up being his Achilles Heel

You are correct. We didn't play Carolina this year. However, I did type Season opener *last year*.

I'll pretend like your literate. It's cute. LOL

Aikman as recently as a year ago was hammering Dak for his accuracy, publicly.
But Troy's opinion probably only counts when he's praising Dak, right?
