On my way to work, I saw that a cop had pulled over a school bus. Holy cow! That was low.

To be fair, I don't know why. I just assumed a school bus would almost never get pulled over. That sure wrecks my coke smuggling plans. Crap, I've already put the down payment on that school bus.

Assuming? But what gives you the impression it was a wrongful stop? You can’t just go...”ohhhh how terrible of that cop” without some reason and leave it at that. There must be some reason you’re thinking he’s being a jerk.
 
Many reasons that a school bus could be pulled over.

One of the students could have become unruly and the bus driver called in to HQ and had them call the police.

One of the students could have had an emergency and the cops were pulling the bus over to get the child to take to hospital.

May have been a call reporting that a student had a gun or made threats so they were stopping the bus to check on student. Tends to be a good number of people making anonymous calls of bomb threats or other threats lately.
I live in a rural community and I can think of about 4-5 times in the last couple of years where they had to evacuate the schools because of either bomb threats or threats of someone with a gun. To my knowledge none of them turned out to be true.

Maybe the cop seen something on the outside of the bus that could be a potential safety hazard (muffler hanging off, something wrong with a tire, some of the lights not working).

But there could also be the situation where the driver was speeding, driving erratic (weaving in lanes) or other things that would get a driver pulled over.

Of all the vehicles on the road wouldn't you want the cop to pull over the School Bus if in the wrong?? Maybe it was going to fast or was swerving. I would want that bus pulled over immediately to find out if the driver was impaired or distracted driving. It sounds like to me your just hating on the officer for taking the safety of those children seriously.

No it does..I just haven’t been paying attention. I’m in the middle of a lot going on,so my head is distracted a lot lately. You’re in the right mindset Conehead.
