I also think that the same people who lauded Prescott for 13 wins just feel it is easy to dismiss the same amount of regular season wins for the guy.

We lost his rookie year because, well, for idiotic coaching, screwed up culture, poor depth and a number of other things.

But at the end of the day, facts are facts. One QB has played in a Super Bowl. The other has not got past the divisional round.

I don't care to get into who is "better" anymore. It all comes down to who is better for their team, that year.

Your 1st round qb thinking is also off, because look at all the first round picks that never went to playoffs, much less SB. Mayfield is a 1st rounder , and 2 years and cant make playoffs. And he doesnt appear to be better than dak.

I do.. because I have seen games determined by his play this season.

I also remember some crazy plays he pulled off when he first arrived.

I give every athlete with a serious injury a season to mentally heal... Having
had both bones in my lower leg snapped in two, and dislocated ankle, plate
and screws put in... I always felt it was going to snap again for like a year
lol...

So I can understand not being 100% mentally for some time.

I believe Garappolo is talented, and better than Dak.

But... hey I have been wrong before, could be wrong now lol.

The one thing I don't like that he is doing now that he wasn't doing before,
is not progressing through his reads. AKA like another former 49ers QB.
