Any weekend warriors?

Most of us have jobs or a carrier. What do you do for fun on the weekends? I'm a Horse shoe buff.

I practice about 10 hours a week. working on 11 years. I up to about 60% After serious and Delbert practice.

What do you guys do let off steam?

Mostly hunting, mostly hogs. I do love me some fishin though.

I can always go to our pond and throw a reel and bait. Catfish, Bass, Crappy and Sun perch. some of our sun perch have made over 3 pounds. I have a feeder on a timer.

Summer-fishing, golf and perfecting skills at the shooting range

love to go to estate sales and antique stores looking for any Elvis stuff or Cowboys Collectibles to add to my collections.
always on the hunt.

depending on weather...sometimes I go to a wildlife refuge less than 10min from me and do a bigfoot hunt.....its an area that some folks claim to have seen it.
the area was featured on an episode of finding bigfoot.

most weekends tho i just rock away in my chair.

I don’t know....kinda whatever day brings or what I fancy at moment. I did start buying LEGO sets this week. Just got my second one earlier. So that’s probably my new hobby to add with all the other stupid stuff I get myself into.

What about people watching? It’s 1:15 am...lot of people partying and couples making out and I’m not one of them,but interesting nonetheless. I will say I’m tired of people and the blunts. I was a low profile smoker and kept things clean. They make mess everywhere. Guess I’ll go buy another little dust pan and sweeper broom for my trunk. Like my dirty areas tidy. Oh and check out some of the ads at top...some very interesting companies actually. Miradry one i very interested in.

Hood? Looool. Not quite...It’s normal here. I can’t go too many places without seeing a blunt dump on ground from Hip hop nation ...then you have tech business nation who smoke prerolls. But they clean and leave nothing. It’s not like you do it in front of cops per se,but in CA unless some redneck areas? It’s legal for me,and no one gives a crap about that anyways. You wouldn’t even get a DA to waste his time. They tried once to me in Kings County.early 2000’s ...judge officially banned me from county. To this day I believe...but all I got was a misdemeanor ticket. Now? The cops gave me back my pot and pipe during a scary situation where I was held at gunpoint thinking I was trying break in cars at their sub station garage. Got a nice car but look like I do. Whole county watching...cops and crooks alike. Living in a state of fear and suspicion since Halloween.

Discounting the fact that, when you are retired, every day is a weekend, our weekends are usually reserved for hiking (year-round), gardening (spring and summer) and, in my specific case teaching scuba diving.

We try to avoid shopping and road trips on the weekend when all the 9 to 5'ers are out.

Ooooh shhhhhh.....hey,hey you guys. I just realized what’s going on after looking up. “Global startup grind conferences.” ...and I’m at the center of the storm where it started last night. I had no clue of this. That’s why all the people partying last night dressed to the nines. Why aren’t you net tech experts talking about any of this? Not a mention? I’M the one uplugged awhile.. No TV or news really. I was actually drinking coffee at 5 am when a flood of trucks and workers just popped out of thin air all around me. Had to move....this is weird ok. But really is a first fully automated vehicle driving in SF for a month now. Don’t you people get it? I’m in beginning of Bladerunner world. It’s like that...future and past colliding together in a violent perfect storm and I’m the gosh dang Andrea Gale but without the crew. I’m not a tech or network person..I’m a stoner dancer loner guy who’s just realized what the hell is going on. Now I get it. All the new developments and rapid major changes etc.. So lower class and upper class eyeing me cause I don’t belong to either and everyone trying gauge who I am and why see me cruise around so much,with neither liking me. I’m just a dude who enjoys driving his car around and going places to see things. That’s not fair!!! I’m being dumped on by everyone. This is total BS....fine then. Let’s war world,but I’m taking this boat straight through and NO ONE is sinking me. Later guys ...I got lots to learn about and little time to do this want survive.
