umm he was last of our ST issues first we kept Maher to long fearing nothing available that was better , we were wrong, then the ST coach was horrid, returners not specials, and lastly Jones looks like hes regressing but really a compete ST overhaul is in progress, ill trust Fassell to fix it..

Jones (abdomen) does not have an injury designation for Sunday's game against Philadelphia.

Jones was limited in practice all week but will give it a go Sunday. There was never much doubt as Dallas did not sign any alternatives.

Given the news about Jones' abdomen strain, his status is worth monitoring as kickoff approaches next week. The Cowboys currently do not have another punter on their roster.

For a while I liked Jones, but this past year was absolutely horrible, and if we've seen his best days, the rest need to be spent elsewhere.
