For you Dak fans, a question

There’s a lot of assumptions in your post.

you know what they say about assumptions

Not a great deal more then I see in a lot of post that support Dak getting paid a top salary. I mean, I don't disagree with your observation here but it does seem to fall on a bit of a deaf ear for me. You can literally read any Pro Pay thread and see just as much, in the way of assumptions, if not more.

This is a nonsense question because obviously "Dak fans" don't believe that having him for 4-5 years will squander a top offensive team. That's like asking someone if it bothers them that something they believe tastes great doesn't actually taste great. You are making an argument as if they believe something that from the outset you know they don't believe.

So ... there is a chance ... wait.
... You don't like asking Dak lovers (including you) whether they realize that our current crop of offensive stars would be wasted while we see the flowering of Dakota Prescott.
Rather.
Why are you and other Dak lovers afraid to consider the futures?
Huh?

I always love question that are tilted to your own views. By keeping Dak we squander a top 5 offense? BS that is not a question it your lame ars view

wouldn't it be great to have a QB and not just a rich Bus Driver? Again this is not a question it is you views.

Please. Take time to read yer post.

Consider the way alcohol (or worse) clouds your verbal abilities and the way you present your views.

Mods, could we find a way to let Dooms correct his writings misdeeds? If you do, there is a gift basket on its way to you at CZ headquarters in lovely Duncanville.

Ah yes, the typical, "Elite QB's grow on trees," theory. Yes, we will just pluck one off and win this year's Super Bowl. This is old and annoying. It's the same old and tired debate with Romo. You guys will never get it so just go sit in the corner and complain among yourselves...

We'll need a larger area in which to congregate. You see, many, many here believe Dak to be average. And many, many think it will be a mistake to pay him what he wanted. And, too, many believe Jerry will see to it that we endure many more 8-8 seasons with Dak.
Hence, fans will continue to buy Cowboys cigarette lighters and jackets and table coasters to make Jerry be able to pay exorbitant amounts to pedestrian players.
In the end, Dak will be among the highest-paid in the NFL (you just smiled, didn't you?), our O team will grow old and Jerry and Dak will extend their middle finger at the fans base. Such is the Foo life.

BTW: KTel records has put out the best of Foo Fighters on CD, cassette and Ktel online. I know how excited you must be. Enjoy!

Actually the problem with Dak's contract demands are supposedly that he WANTS to have a SHORT deal. Meaning if DAK gets his way the team ISN'T stuck with him for 4-5 years.

The real choice might be between an expensive but short deal that either side can move on from in a couple years, or tagging Dak until a replacement is found (which is de facto the same thing pretty much.)

Compromise is always good!

Does it bother you to ask a slanted question, knowing that your thoughts are mum?

Yes, my thought are with mum.
It's been a year since we and this Forum lost mum.
Somewhere in heaven she is smoking a Marlboro and smiling upon you and me.
You're a good lad.

Dear boy, the Dak fan club is loaded to capacity. The waiting list is 2 seasons.
Better yet, there is the Byron Jones Fan Club.
That lad is so underrated and underpaid.

But I was so in hopes of getting one of the Offical Dak Prescott authentic "Made in China" bowties and the matching Dakoder ring.

Does it not bother you that if you have your way and Dak is here for the next 4-5 years, we will have squandered a top 5 offensive team?

5 years of futility with Dak and then our line is old, Zeke is fatter and slower and Amari begins to look like a no. 150th pick in the draft.

Before our window of opportunity closes, wouldn't it be great to have a great QB and not just a rich bus driver?
Think about it.

It’s a stupid question because if they believed having Dak would waste our offensive talent they wouldn’t be Dak supporters. Your question assumes they will agree with your premise about the future even though by calling them “Dak lovers” you already acknowledged that they don’t agree with your premise.

Know what bothers me is the wrong assessment of Prescott. Like him or not he’s a winner. And that’s the bottom line.

Bus driver. The guy responsible for taking a team where they want to go. Yeah I’ll take the bus driver. And the bus breaks down the guy that picks it up and put it back together. Yeah I’ll take the bus driver
