He won't make it through September.
Then it will be over for him. What a shame.
I hope I'm wrong.

Any neck injury, especially one involving a pre-existing condition, is serious and it's too early to tell to what degree he will make a football recovery but with no real information no reason to assume the worst. If he can play at all, that is a good sign because I don't think he would risk a serious neck injury that could affect future quality of life.

Picking players like Vander Esch, Gregory and Smith are exactly why Booger doesn't have a GM. That and the fact he knows the Cowboys can take chances because they don't have to win. He's made sure the GM can act with complete impunity.

Don't put it past Uncle Jerry to draft a guy with one leg.

Hes drafted a couple with 3..............according to Jerry. Cringe-worthy.

Training Camp 1989. "All I can say right now is that he looks good in the shower."

Think it'll be wise to see some guys drafted or signed this year as a JIC.

We won't know for sure till MC/TC and when he starts contact again.

He had neck surgery that’s a concern. When he first had the surgery it was called a procedure to try and lessen the concern. I’ll be surprised if he’s still playing at 30. Nothing retires players faster than head and neck injuries. Luke Kuechly just retired at 28 from repeated concussions.

LVE may end up like Billy Cannon jr another linebacker the Cowboys selected in the first round. Cannon suffered a neck injury and also had a narrowing of the spinal column like LVE. Cannon suffered his injury during his rookie year in 84.

Nowadays, the Cowboys remind me of the song "Born Under A Bad Sign", in particular, the line, "If I didn't have bad luck, I wouldn't have any luck at all"

At least we had him relatively healthy for a season. Anybody remember Billy Cannon Jr?

The son of Heisman Trophy winner Billy Cannon, he was a linebacker drafted in the 1st round by the Cowboys in the 1984 draft.

He broke his neck in the 8th game of his rookie season and that was the end of his career.

If Isaiah Simmons falls. You have to grab him. Problem is. Thanks to that last win that meant nothing. We probably have no shot

So we drafted two linebackers with huge medical red flags using premium picks and now there are medical concerns about both. Sounds about right.
Yup, another Jerry special.

It wasn't long ago this very board was denying anything was wrong with him in the NFL AND college. I still think it is suspect that his condition wasn't mentioned before the draft and even LVE denying he ever had a stinger.

Oy.

His neck issues were whispered prior to the draft so this should really surprise no one. This didn't come out of left field.

Better to know now then after we sign him to a big extension, cough, cough, Smith.

I think they need to bring Lee AND Thomas back at LB.
