I’ve heard him say that but I don’t believe him. It’s attractive because it’s the head coaching job of the Dallas freaking Cowboys.

Secondarily, 32 of the players on the 53 man rosters are free agents in one capacity or another and several others, like Crawford for example, can be cut without ramifications.

Heck, it’s akin to an expansion franchise in that McCarthy can literally mold this roster exactly how he wants it.

THAT, in my opinion, is what really made this job attractive.

yeah, mike is going to say, "dak sucks and he can't hit the broad side of a barn" lmao. after this year he's gone. he moved on from brent Hundley, who suppose to be very similar to dak per his scouting report. or Dak is very similar to hundley per his scouting report.

"My Life" doesn't center around football. I see it for what it is... entertainment. Dak is nothing more to me than the QB of my favorite team. What he does, or doesn't do, has absolutely zero effect on my life and whether it's wasted or not.... IF you feel like your life is "Wasted", based off the Cowboys W/L column... I would suggest you need to refocus yourself. Start putting your time and energy into the more important things in life. For example... Friends, family, good times, and good health.

Not sure why people can't figure out that McCarthy already picked his QB.

No way would he have signed with Dallas if he didn't like Dak, he had other options.

Last time I checked its a team game. Aikman didn't win the trophies on his own...he had a stellar team and staff around him. Kansas City didn't win the SB just because of Mahommes. He didn't have his best game, and so the TEAM had to step up and get stops. Dak had ZERO help last year. He was expected to drive 80 plus yards everytime he had the ball and in the end, that's how you miss the playoffs. SO STOP IT ALREADY ABOUT DAK.

He won the division 2/4 years, never led the team to a losing record and was in position to win it a third by having the literal #1 offense.

Was Dak letting other teams score and messing up on special teams?
