they gave a 1 for AC which at the time outbid all others,,its the same, they do take some risk so it happens..we dont need to Joey Galloway roy Williams type risk.. you have to have some restraint..

When you take on a UFA that's just about the agreed upon contract without having to give up a premium highest pick there is.
thats why i was puzzled and disappointed we never made it serious towards FA studs like Earl Thomas and Calasis Campbell.
Maybe with Campbell they had this thought that guys like Hardy or Gregory would turn the corner and they would have their war daddy.
and maybe the Cowboys, and several other contenders didn't realize how good CB Stephen Gilmore would really end up being before he was available in FA.
i can give kudos to such ingenius low risk/high reward trades that end up bonzanas ala Robert Quinn, but i always so dearly coveted the big name studs in FA, that
can help us elevate and move that much more towards a serious championship drive.
