He's aging and clearly didn't look as good last year, but if he wants to keep playing and won't return to NE, he is still an improvement over Jameis Pickston in the "intelligence/IQ" department, and doesn't make nearly as many boneheaded throws.

Smart move for Tampa.

The Winston situations was going to be problematic. They know he's not the long-term answer there and needed a stop gap that let them be competitive. If Winston stayed, it would be a problem for them to draft a QB high to groom.
