I THOUGHT COACHING AND SCHEME WERE IMPORTANT..TANK AND GREGORY ADD THE YOUNG DEPTH WE HAD I BELIEVE DE MIGHT BE COVERED with a FA for further depth, ITS THE MIDDLE YOU SHOULD WORRY ABOUT..

give kit time we literally have MONTHS to get this built..

I am worried about both. I don't buy this notion of "young depth" because we have no idea if Jelks and Jackson can even play in this league. Armstrong has played and shown himself to be nothing but a decent back up. The front office can't honestly believe they are good there and just need to throw a draft pick at it and we'll be great at DE.

DT is even worse, as you said. But this franchise seems utterly nauseated by the concept of bringing in a real DT in free agency so we'll probably ham and egg it there with some bargain bin FA, mistakenly think Hill will develop, then throw a draft pick at it and claim we are good.

DE is weak in FA and the draft. Were you going to pay Quinn 70 million over 5 years for someone who will be 30 before the next season starts?

Dude, EVERYTHING has changed. No Marinelli, completely new defensive staff, new HC... you are comparing Apples to Maxi-pads.

You still need players to win in this league even with good coaches. DT is a wasteland right now. We have Hill and Woods. That's about it. One is a decent but not good or great 1T and the other is, well, not good at least thus far

You can't seriously think things are going swell along the DL this offseason.

LOL. Same posts year after year about it's only the start of FA and year after year basically the same thing happens............. we bargain bin the crap out of it and head into the season with holes that easily could have been addressed with even some mid-level FAs.

But keep thinking this year will be different.

I'd agree with you normally BUT you'd be kind of dense to ignore that there is a totally new coaching staff, new defensive coordinator, etc... it actually IS a little different this year. You are acting like a beat wife. I know and empathize... We'll see.

Yup. We needed a lot of work before, now we need even more. Not sure if that's good or bad, depends on how they decide to fix it I guess.
Maybe McCarthy will get us a couple of animals for the DL. :flagwave:

and as you were wiping your tears back they sign McCoy..like i said give it time and give the doom and gloom arrest theres 6months left until an actual season and the crying starts 2 days into FA period..

September is a ridiculously long ways away..
