If you were starting a defense from scratch that would be true. As it is, who knows what could happen with a few additions in the right places?

I still think they are not sure about QB. With offensive talent that offensive should be prolific thru entire year and thru playoffs regardless of who they play. But what we saw was they feasted on bottom 1/3 teams and turtled against better teams.

That's not always true. Rookies start in this league all the time. In the Cowboys case, some are going to have to start.

It doesn't mean they'll be bad. Dak had to start in his rookie season. He took the team to a 13-3 record and into the Divisional Round of the playoffs. Not bad for a rookie that had to start.
