Oh come on..

A ton of people thought drafting a RB that high was a bad move and then giving him a contract 2 years before the deal was up wasn't the best move either.

They deserve criticism for not properly building their team. This is common sense stuff.

Some of you act like Zeke's contract, is the downfall of the team. The front office has been making mistakes, since Jimmy left. This team needs a real GM. A billionaire, that believes he can do anything is detrimental. Hopefully McCarthy, will give some pushback.

Yes to everything. Drafting Zeke was stupid. I would have taken Ramsey in that spot and looked for a RB later. This is the point about building from the the front to back and middle out - on both sides of the ball. The Cowboys like to go with glitz. Building the OL as they did is the one shockingly smart thing they have done in 25 years. And I think they they stumbled into that! I wish they would stumble into building the defensive line now.

Can anyone explain what our D is going to be like? We lost 4 starters...some needed to go...but the draft just doesn’t fill in guys who can impact. Seriously one big hit spot and it’s been a fail. I don’t overreact here but I feel like they had a plan and it failed

I would’ve never drafted him in the 1st place. Ramsey was the pick. Could take an RB every 3-4 years and he’d get 1200-1500 yards behind our line.

Ramsey would be gone by now anyway, just like Jones. Dallas would not have paid him either...

We should’ve drafted Jalen Ramsey over Zeke. RBs are significantly easier to find and replace. Both players can be considered “special” but everyone knows it’s harder to find a “special” CB than it is to find a special RB.

that year we could’ve grabbed Derrick Henry I the second. I know this has been brought up here before but I had to mention it because it’s another example of our poor decision making.

We paid Zeke 2 years early as well as Jaylon Smith. Why??
Why not hold off on paying zeke, if he sits he sits. We’ve been investing in Oline for several years now. Draft or trade for a cheap alternative to Zeke until you’re ready to pay him. Prioritize QB first

we just paid to extend cooper rush. Something like $2 million. We could’ve added that $2 mill to what Dak is asking for and then drafted a backup QB. We could then pay Amari and franchise Byron.

this would keep all of our core players and allow us to build thru the draft. But instead we are now losing our best CB (for nothing in return), allowing Daks asking price to continue to rise, and we’re paying Amari because we had too.

seems like everything we’re doing is assbackwards
Do you realize this team is still getting a cheaper rb? When his deal is actually a problem they can release him with minimal dead money?

Have you noticed how malcontent Ramsey is and how team are beating him now?

You would be biching about Henry right now bout to be paid. In Dallas' running system Henry wouldnt have survived with fans like you.

You are really dense man!

What does the first sentence say in article of that link? You know, the one you conveniently left out buffoon. Shall I help you again....

"The NFL offseason is in full swing, and 2020 NFL free agency is off and running."

You can read.... can't you???

Funny how he always disappears after he’s been exposed. Before exposure he’s rapid fire snarky, after his exposure you can here a pin drop...probably just a coincidence:)

Yeah and according to him it's not Wednesday 4pm yet, so all this player movement that has been going on means nothing. Just one big smokescreen after another...meaningless! :)

Common man what's another 25 years of 0 Superbowl glory.
As long as the Jones family member is the GM we are headed nowhere!!!!

So you’d do the same thing all over again if you had a chance to do it over?

This is Jone's toy. You think he gives two rips about really getting back to the Superbowl? The Cowboys are money. They always have been. Jones makes millions and millions off of the Cowboys. That's all he cares about. He does just enough to get the media and fans excited or interested and then, BOOM! Another Subpar season. No fear. Dallas is STILL the # 1 Franchise according to Forbes. LOL
