So when I look at positions of importance that are being bandaged on this team..

now that Witten has left the building, TE just seems glaring.

I just do not think signing Jarwin is nearly enough and while he got a 3 year deal, the details of his deal says it's voidable after the first year.

So I want to look at prospects to consider. The importance for Dak to have a TE with some thump just seems clear watching Dak for 4 seasons with Witten.Jason had like 65 catches for only 600 yds and 3 TDs.

With Cobb being gone, that's almost 900 yds.additionally missing.

More is needed.

I already mentioned in another thread about Parham from the XFL.

Let's get started. I will add more or you guys can add as well.

Well bugger me with a boat hook, does anyone in the Cowboys organization know that this is still a priority for you? Surely this oversight is going to be dealt with right away, in fact I fully expect mass firings because your priority wasn’t addressed the second it was voiced.

Really like Parham. Also, Deguara adjusts really nicely to the ball in the air. Can make an off throw be right on target. I am intrigued. Thanx for posting.

@Redball Express Yeah, but does it rate as a 2nd round priority? Should we reach for a TE just to calm your anxiety?

I am thinking WR Noah Brown can be used as a TE/WR combo. He is a good blocker and catcher. If he added about 15 pounds he might be another option.

As long as I can remember, the Cowboys have had good TEs. Dallas just seems to crank out TEs like a factory.

I doubt the Cowboys are 100% sold on Jarwin being the undisputed starter for years.
However, I think they are going to roll the dice this year with him, Schultz and maybe a day 3 rookie and or UDFA.

I want more Schultz, too.

But like so many before him, he seems to be at the rear of the chow line in Dallas.

My belief is to stop with the experiments.

Just go get one and start playing him.

Our TEs have traditionally been sort of tweeners.

After 4 years with now paying huge contracts this season..

we need every position being played as a key thing.

We will see.

Honestly, as big a Witten fan as I am, I would be very worried if the Cowboys were going into the season banking on him. I am slightly relieved that at least the Cowboys have youth on its side.

I would try to trade for Njoku or sign Eifert to compete
with Jarwin. Otherwise bring in a guy like Kendricks or Swaim to backup.
