Did not know he had surgery. He may be a little off this season. Always considered him and Bailey the best and tucker 3rd, but I believe tucker holds the #1 spot (no injuries helps)

Let him and Forbaith kick it out in TC. However Dallas had signed K Vizcaino back in January. But doesn't mean he couldn't be released.
This could cure a glaring need. He has 5 months before the season starts to heal.

FG is going to double and triple in importance if we struggle at all.

Forbath is a body..not an answer.

Why do you think he was available last year to be signed.

I would even draft a FG kicker kick off guy.

STs is going to be way more important in the days ahead.

Under Garrett it was an afterthought. He obviously never learned from Jimster about STs being one third of the game.

When they released Bailey..I was shocked.

Garrett..

I'd be cool with that or Zuerlein although kicking isn't our biggest concern right now.

Zuerlein was 5 of 11 on field goals of 40-49 yards last year. Dallas is better off with Forbath at this point.

9th most accurate kicker in NFL history not good enough for you? Forbath was perfect for us last season.

Pat's released him..be a great pickup for Dallas since we cant score TDs lol
Obviously the Cowboys were inconsistent from game to game last year, but they were the 6th highest scoring team in the NFL last year, and that didn''t happen only in FGs

I think its hilarious just last season MANY here cited how stupid the DC FO was to cut Baily instead of stashing him on IR but those argued it was due to big contract and his injury made him a below avg kicker, Baily has one decent year making a comeback and the hater claws came out.. NE just CUT a player for the same reason , make far too much money and coming off an injury..they did NOT put him on IR,now some of you want this kicker..LMAO Hypocrisy in sports run DEEP..

how the hell is he a body when he made every kick for us last year and is top 10 all time? Your stance makes absolutely no sense

Why fix problems that do not exist? We have Forbarth. No thank you to Gostkowski.
Dallas made the mistake of not looking at several kickers last year. They should never do it again. I don’t see a problem with bringing in several kickers and choose the best one. They don’t need a repeat of last season under any circumstances.

Last year the kicking position was a problem until Kai Forbath joined the team. Forbath was 10 for 10 in FG attempts. There is no need for a new kicker. Your explaination for doing so is just busy work for the sake of busy work. It's not fixing anything. How do you not see that's a problem? Sounds like you are just dealing with trust issues.

Well..

There was a reason he was not on a roster when we signed him.

I just think he was an emergency signing and had no competition to speak of to get the job.

And frankly, his kickoffs were sucky and we need to get better for STs to contribute more. Wish we had never let Bailey go.

Whatever.

I would like to see us draft a young leg to build on.

Nothing wrong with that.

Later.

There are two college Kickers who are good enough to be drafted also.
Use your 6/7 picks to get young kicker and punter
This class seems to be higher in quality than I’ve seen in awhile though I don’t look at either many years
But the odds of any position taken in 6Th 7th and contributing right way are very slim
This is a way to get guys who may be there that late and contribute right away

People say they wish we had not moved on from bailey but it was 2 yrs before he got back to form
Forbath did well but he’s been inconsistent over his career
That’s why he was there to sign

Exactly.

Any port in a storm when your kicker is sinking the ship with his kicks.

I got nothing against Forbath. He deserves a chance like everybody does.

But we are at a reset point and we need to look around.
